White Oak Alcove Home Office
Here we have a cleverly designed and beautifully built home office that all fits into a narrow 14" deep alcove. Every square inch counted. The entire job is constructed for solid rustic white oak for character. The solid oak counter can easily hold a laptop and to its right are filing cabinets for the Pendaflex 4152 size hanging folders.
The slides are Blum concealed self closers and the drawer boxes are solid maple. The upper cabinets double as space to store work materials and children's games. The bookshelves are adjustable and 1 1/2" thick.
Every piece of the project was custom made down to the unique crown molding, which is held back from the edge of the returned wall.
