Alix recently did an installation for ASID's Wine and Design event out of Environment Furniture. She incorporated such beautiful textures and colors. She is very professional and just absolutely lovely to work with.

She is talented, resourceful and high-energy and I'd strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer with a keen eye for color and style, exquisite taste, and excellent people skills. Alix truly listened and helped to pick out carpet and paint colors that suited my preferences and my home's Tuscan ambiance. She was cost-conscious as well and took me straight to the source when it came to carpet. She handled all of the details such as choosing the rug pad and finding real professionals to install the carpet. I was impressed when she came over with a Dunn Edwards color wheel and chose wall colors for the kids' bedrooms to match my daughters' antique-style duvet covers. Alix was happy to offer tips throughout the house and to my daughters' friend who was visiting from Santa Barbara. Her fees are reasonable, too. I've seen Alix' work in several homes and shows and have loved everything she has done! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again and have already suggested her to my friends and neighbors!!!

Alix has a great eye for design and color. I gave her a direction that we wanted the outside of our house to look like and she amazed me. When she came for my consultation she brought possible colors that she felt would give me the look I wanted. She was right on! Thank you sooo much Alix.

Alix Flamm is super responsive and will comes to the first meeting prepared with examples and possibilities for your project. Her service is excellent; I have used her for several projects; the first one, I wanted to determine a color for my kitchen; I gave her my thoughts; she came with various shades of the basic color and we went through the whole area to determine where the appropriate cut off lines should be and a coordinating color for the floor trim; she included a recommendation for a painter. The second project, same kitchen, I wanted to replace outdated can lights with modern, drop lights; she brought several examples, and brought us to the actual store that had many types of drop lights to our liking; we also needed small medallions to cover the can light openings where the new drop lights would hang from and she found the perfect size medallions--Alix arranged the entire order, including reference to an electrician. The 3rd project we wanted to replace outdated facets for the bathrooms, and she picked out several with our parameters in mind, and again arranged the whole order, including the plumber reference. Alix saves you time, hassle, and money with many resources at her fingertips. Alix will go the extra mile for you. I hired Alix Flamm to design the interior of my new home facing the ocean. She utilized the open space plan creating intimate areas maximizing the view. Coming up with a more elegant traditional style with contemporary touches exceded my expectation of beach cottage decor.
