Andrea Guay is a visual artist with a free spirit. Her landscapes are reflections of her personality: spontaneity tempered by contemplation and deliberation. “All of my work develops from my experience and interaction with a local landscape. I combine personal experience with daily life, dreams, history and visual impressions from contemporary or historical media to create studies of a moment in time." Believing that original art should be part of everyday life. Guay keeps her pricing affordable and encourages her clients to select pieces that they have an emotional connection to. "You have to want to look at a piece again and again. Hanging original art in your home or office is the strongest way to create the most personal spaces!" Andrea Guay earned a BA in Architecture from Wellesley College and completed the New York/Paris Program at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Her work hangs in private collections in 9 states and three countries.
