Our salesperson Carol was very knowledgeable and helpful. The two installers that did our first install were excellent. 5 stars for them. Our second install was a very poor experience. We had requested the same men that did our first install and they said they would try but it didn't happen. Our installer showed up more than 3 hours late (said he had a flat and no spare). He came with no helper, no mask and seemed in a hurry to get things done. While moving the furniture he put 3 gouges in the door and dings in the woodwork and walls while installing. Would have helped him move the furniture if he would have been wearing a mask. He set a sweating water bottle on a dresser top, tried to fix the gouges on the door with caulk and cleaned the caulk gun in the bathroom sink and left it dirty and stained with caulk. 10 more steps he could have cleaned caulk gun in the laundry tub .Discovering more things every time we clean. We let both our sales person and the scheduler with Bakers Bros know about these issues and sent pictures. No response.

I just love my new porcelain tile floor. The two workmen were real professionals who worked with patience, talent, and experience to lay out a beautiful pattern. What could have been a difficult time for me was made easy because of their professional attitude and hard work. Thank you Baker Bros! I will gladly recommend you for any flooring project. Worst experience ever! It started with 3 or 4 different installation dates. They sent guys out that I couldnt even communicate with with because they knew very little English and couldn't understand what I was saying to them which led to my vinyl planks going the wrong way and my stove left in my dining room at the end of the project. When I brought this up to markus he told me he can understand them so I guess that was my problem. I also complained about the seams that you could see, especially the one running down the middle of my livingroom and in the doorways where it felt like there were nails stabbing your foot. He said you can always see the seams, but offered to fix the one stabbing my foot, which I've discovered more since then. I told him I have had carpet installed in two other homes and been in many with carpet and was never able to see the seams. This is a shag carpet so I'd hate to see what they do with a short pile carpet! He acted like I was nuts to not expect to see the seams. I went with the vinyl planks they recommended and it feels like you're walking on cement and it looks awful! You can't even make this stuff look clean because it seems to attract dirt. These workers left dirty marks all over every door and wall on my newly painted house. It was really bad! He did send someone out to fix the awful caulking job they did and the dings they put in my closet door and some of the other messes. They were set to come out to fix the one doorway seam but when I found out they charged my debit card for the balance of the bill without telling me before the job was even finished causing me to bounce 3 checks I had had enough! If they would have told me they were going to do this I would have moved money over to cover for it but I wasn't given that chance. I didn't think they would even ask for the remainder of the bill until the job was completed! They offered no apology , just told me it's in the contract! I had enough! I was so angry I told them don't come back out. I couldn't take anymore ! So that was my experience and I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone else!

We had used Baker Brothers on 2 previous jobs. They did such a great job that we requested our general contractor use them when our floor needed to be replaced after a flood. Well, the third time and fourth time (I will explain that) did not go so well. First of all the Baker Brothers sales department made it sound like the installers were Baker Brothers employees. It turned out that the company Baker Brothers uses for installation is Exotic Flooring. When we initially needed this job done, we were out of town, so once the space was emptied it should have been a quick and easy flooring removal and installation. We had many problems with the install and it was blamed on defective product. After we moved back in, it was determined that over 50 planks of our new floor needed to be replaced, so it was decided that they would rip it all out and replace it. We were forced to have same crew as according to the ROC they must be given the opportunity to make it right. We were also informed that we weren't even the customer because it was our General Contractor that hired Baker Brothers. Baker Brothers would not commit to paying for our hotel and food while we were forced out of our house due the so called "defective product" I will thank them for finally agreeing to cover these costs we had out of pocket, but it sure would have been better customer service if they had assured us up front. Baker Brothers is not about customer service, they are about cutting corners, saving money and profits first. It seems like the customer is the last concern of this company. They have fancy showrooms with nice sales personnel, but when it comes to the installation, you get unmarked vans and trucks with no Baker Brothers employees! When they started the job (4th time floor installation) it was clear that the product was the same and they had to have more shipped in from California. I confirmed that Baker Brothers had a claim with Bruce Hardwood "E550" product, but I don't know any of the details of that claim. The job is finally done and we had one last board replaced. I just took the weights off after 48 hours and it was obvious that too much glue was used leaving a mess for me to scrape up and clean. Job was supposed to be done on or before October 15, 2016. The last plank that had to be replaced was done on February 24, 2017. I hope this review helps other people avoid the pitfalls that we experienced.

I originally purchased and installed a high end Armstrong laminate flooring product from Lowes because I believed it would be much cheaper. Several months later I decided to install the same product in a few more rooms so I returned to Lowes only to find out they had switched vendors and no longer carried it. Through a web search I found Baker Bros carried the Armstrong line so I reluctantly checked them out. I was pleasantly suprised to find it at the same price Lowes sold it and their service was great. Baker Bros will be my first stop for flooring products in the future.

Barbara was extremely knowledgeable and helped guide us to the type of tile that best fit our needs. She was also helpful when it came to determining the size of tile we needed, what direction the tile should be facing when it was placed and choosing a grout color. Baker Brothers was professional, prompt, kept to timelines and really knew what they were talking about!

We bought two rooms of carpet and two rooms and a hallway of wood flooring. There was no pressure. Craig was helpful, very knowledgable, and relaxed. He answered all our questions thoroughly and then allowed us to discuss and decide without interference. We were allowed to take a sample home for a couple days. This was extremely helpful. Both the carpet and the flooring looked different when we got them home. The decision was not only a lot easier but obvious. My husband installed the flooring. He is very thankful to those who gave him helpful hints and suggestions. The carpet professionals were (WOW) excellent - proficient and personable. I would have preferred that they ask me which scraps I wanted rather than just leave what they wanted to leave. We are extremely satisfied and proud of our decisions and the look of our new flooring.
