Bearded Builders recently completed a large project for us. The project included renovations to our primary bathroom, powder room and laundry room. In addition, they replaced a beam in our family room. They also managed the refinishing of all of the wood floors on the first floor of our house as well as the painting of our entire house. All of the work was exceptional and completed within the timeframe we were told. Our lead carpenter Dennis did great work, kept us informed and made sure our renovation vision was accomplished. Everyone who came into our house to do work was professional and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely use Bearded Builders for any future work and highly recommend them.

Hired the Bearded guys for a bathroom remodel and couldn't be happier with the final product. They were a pleasure to work with, from design to completion. We loved worked with Ashley and Taylor at Bearded Builders to get our bathroom renovated this Spring! Ashely was super responsive when I was worried about being too busy to pick out the design materials---she picked samples and met with me after-hours to make sure we could select the best options. They were right on target for both the cost and timeline for completion! This was so nice and we took a lot of the renovation stress off our shoulders. We did get some small damage to our wood floors as a result of the traffic from the renovations--but we are working with them to get this addressed! Would definitely consider them for our next renovation project!

The entire process was so easy to navigate with the help of Dave, Ryan, Nick, Nick and Mark. They were professional, timely and skilled craftsmen. They communicated with us every step of the way. We have had experiences with other contractors who added extra costs on as the project progressed. Bearded Builders did not add any extra costs and stuck to the original agreed upon contract. We could not be happier with Bearded Builders. We had a complicated cross-country move, and the Baltimore house we bought needed some updates before moving in: full rewiring, new hardwood flooring throughout, patching and painting, plus a few other minor alternations. Bearded Builders were able to handle *all* of that for a large older house on a very tight time scale and helped us make the new house a true home. Their work is meticulous and high quality, everyone was incredibly friendly, and they are always professional and very responsive to questions. Having one company schedule all the work with various specialists was a huge advantage. We'll definitely be using them again for future projects.

Dennis, Ben ,and Ryan did a fantastic job converting two adjacent bedrooms into a master with en suite and walk-in closet. Their level of work and craftsmanship is excellent. Bearded Builders did a renovation of my kitchen and one bathroom. I was very satisfied with the results of the renovation. My house is an open plan configuration so renovating the kitchen impacted other areas of the house, the dining room and sitting room. As an elderly person I needed help in moving furniture in these other areas all the moving was done willingly by the Bearded Builders staff. During the whole project the staff were always very courteous, helpful and consulted me whenever there was something they were not sure about what I wanted. Bearded Builders did everything possible to make the project go smoothly with as little disruption to the rest of the house as possible. I could not have been more pleased with the work they did and the help they gave me in getting through this renovation. I would strongly recommend them and would certainly use them again for any future renovations.

The Bearded Builders just finished a new sun porch on the back of my house. They demo'd the former room completely and built a new room with a slightly larger footprint. The windows, Marvin casement, and new Marvin French Door, are beautiful. They put in a cathedral ceiling with a mini split for heat and AC, and heat in the new tile floor. I chose the Bearded Builders over two other contractors based on Houzz reviews. They estimated the renovation would take between one and two months, and it was completely finished in 6 weeks, so right on time. Their contract was explicit and they answered my few questions quickly. There was a team on the job every single day. The guys were so nice and so easy to get along with. This project could not have been any easier. It was pleasant from beginning to end, and I would use the Bearded Builders again without any hesitation.

We hired Bearded Builders to redo a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The project involved knocking down several walls (including one load bearing one), expanding our kitchen surface area, and creating a basement bathroom where one did not exist before. We appreciate the crew's imagination in turning our rough concepts into clear designs. And we are thrilled with the execution and final product, which transformed our house. Beyond that, everyone we interacted with over the course of the project--including Dave and Kelly, the primary crew of Nick and Nick, and all subcontractors involved, were unfailing professional and conscientious and a pleasure to be around. It should be noted that this project took place during COVID, and so our entire family was home most days--no doubt complicating the ability of the crew to work throughout the house. But they were great and flexible throughout. We have already recommended this company to neighbors and plan to go back to them for any future projects.

Recently had an bump out bench window put in our kitchen and absolutley love it. Dave, Bob and Josh were great to work with. Very professional and always checked in to make sure we were happy with the job will it was under way. I would highly recommend them and will use them for projects again in the future!

Bearded Builders did a major renovation on our home in 2020. They turned a mudroom/laundry room/full bath/exterior porch into a fabulous kitchen! They also changed the existing kitchen into a half bath and mudroom. And also added pass throughs and doorways in other areas to open up the flow of the downstairs. It was a great experience from start to finish. Kelley was amazing at putting our thoughts and drawings into a beautiful floor plan. We had a budget and Kelley and Dave, the owner, helped us stay on track and make decisions to stay within our planned expense. Over the months of our construction, we saw the same contractors everyday. The lead carpenter was Nick, the owners son. He has a great eye for detail and we asked his opinion several times. Ryan was the project manager, also the owners son, and he kept us up to date when things would happen. The contractors were polite and friendly and left our home as clean as could be expected when doing lots of demo! We plan on using Bearded Builders for future projects and would highly recommend them!

Bearded Builders renovated the first floor of our home, completely changing the feel and openness of it. They carefully worked with us from start to finish to design and build the space. Consistently, we were impressed with their professionalism and work ethic throughout the process, from our initial discussion with Kelley and Dave to the final details with Nick. Nick led the day to activities on site and was very considerate of our home, our pet, and our family. He always arrived on time and left before dinner, constantly ensuring that we were happy with every little detail. Even if your project has an issue, ours was delayed due to a fabrication issue with our countertops, Bearded Builders will do everything in their power to get the issue resolved. They listen, have excellent communication and are true professionals. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

We cannot say enough nice things about the Bearded Builders! From start to finish they were professional, easy to work with, meticulous and hardworking. We started our journey by working with designer Dave B. He is wonderful! Dave really took the time to make sure that we were able to get the kitchen of our dreams within our budget. Dave was also very patient with us when we were indecisive and offered excellent advice to steer us in the right direction when decision making! He was very creative with our space and budget, and as you can see from the pictures (both the before and after), it came out beautifully. Bob was assigned as our project’s lead contractor, and we lucked out! From start to finish, Bob was excellent at communicating the progress of the kitchen (and sending us many pictures) as my husband and I chose not to live through the renovation. Bob made our shiplap backsplash from scratch AND handcrafted those beautiful floating shelves with built in LED lights. His whole team did a great job keeping the house clean during the reno and after. We cannot thank the whole team at Bearded Builders enough for helping make our kitchen BEAUTIFUL!

Bearded Builders renovated our kitchen and exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process. The entire project, from design to construction went very smooth (even considering COVID-19). While the work and finished product were stellar, we really appreciated how Bearded Builders worked within our budget, kept us informed along the way, and was always upfront and honest with us. Our kitchen remodel experience with the Bearded Builders was exceptional, from start to finish. In every interaction, the team at Bearded Builders (BB) listened and offered thoughtful ideas to meet our vision for the kitchen. We had many meetings with Dave B. in their office and at our home, to lay out the vision. Dave B. created detailed visual models of what our kitchen would look like, making it easy to imagine the finished product. SPOILER: the finished product was even more amazing than anticipated! Dave B. then gave us our homework: take the list of hand-picked, top-notch vendors BB works with at select our materials, styles, colors, etc. Of course Dave gave us guidance when needed. We looked at everything from tile, cabinets, flooring, hardware, countertops, you name it. The contracting was extremely professional and followed process that was transparent and understandable. The payment terms were simple and laid out so that payments came as different pieces were ordered or arrived and portions of the project completed. As great as our experience with our designer, Dave B. was, the team of carpenters, painters, electricians, duct-workers, plumbing, tilers, etc. was equally impressive. The execution team (shout out to Dennis and Jon) are so friendly, helpful, and professional. We were stuck in our house without a kitchen during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and they did everything possible to make the experience as enjoyable and low-impact as possible.

They were so wonderful. Did an amazing job and stuck to a timeline. Would definitely use them for any home renovations in the future.

They suggested a design that we would never have thought of that opened the hallway to the kitchen and has lightened the entire first floor. From the very start until the project was completed the Bearded Builders Company of Baltimore has been a first class organization. We had our family room, kitchen and bathroom remodeled by Bearded Builders and it was a wonderful experience from design to completion! The project ran from mid-October to early December 2018. Their attention to detail resulted in us discovering termite damage that they addressed. Ryan and Alex arrived punctually each day and cleaned up before they left. The painting, plumbing and electrical contractors were a good supporting cast. The quality of our renovation exceeded our expectations. We already have a list of warm weather projects that we will have them work on.

We have been working with Dave Price/Bearded Builders since February, 2018- Dave gave us an initial estimate on a full remodel of a vacant house we were bidding on. We settled on the house and the project officially started in May, 2018 and we are SO thrilled with the way our home turned out!! It was a massive transformation that upgraded the original 1940's house to our modern home. They removed walls, added a kitchen island, replaced all appliances, updated flooring, upgraded lighting; they turned the wood-paneled, dark basement into a functional living/play room with a custom built-in bookcase; the tile in the bathrooms looks amazing! Dave and his entire team were very easy to work with, including their recommended vendors; they were responsive to concerns we had and quick to find solutions to bumps in the road along the way. Bob was "our guy" who was at the house on a day-to-day basis--he is trustworthy, was always on-time and you can tell that he takes pride in his work. We will continue to recommend Dave and his team to anyone looking for an excellent, detail-oriented, honest, reliable contractor. We are so excited with the complete transformation of our new home and appreciate the entire Bearded Builders' team that made the entire process run smoothly!!

Bearded Builders gutted a small first floor powder room for us. The workmanship is fabulous and we are really happy with the effort they put into the "little touches" (like matching the molding on the baseboards to the rest of the house even though it was non-standard – thanks Nick!). They were fast with the work itself and the project timeline and quality expectations were exceeded. The work started later than the original timeline we were given and communication before we started wasn’t great, but we were in no rush and I’d rather take quality work over speed any day! We would definitely hire them again.

The bearded builders were absolutely wonderful to have remodel our kitchen! Probably one of the best parts was that if there were any questions or issues we had, they would pretty much get back to us the same day, which I felt like was very unusual for most contractors. They did great work and we felt like they were very honest and trust worthy. We absolutely love our new kitchen and would use the bearded builders for future projects for sure!

While we were in no hurry to have our back porch and roof project started, it did take a while for the project to begin. That being said, the crew (Bob and Ryan) were very courteous and thorough and knew what they were doing. We also added a ramp (completed at no additional cost) to the steps we originally requested and are very satisfied with the final outcome. We now have a roof over our porch to protect us from the elements. Site was cleaned at the end of each day. We would use Bearded Builders again.

We are so happy we hired Beared Builders! They were professional from the beginning to end of the project. Every day ended with a discussion of what to expect the following day and if there was a change, we were notified promptly. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and the cost was more than fair. The budget was accurate, with the small overage due to add ons we requested. Dave was patient, prompt and ever so kind with answers to my questions. Nick and Ryan were a pleasure to have here every day and they were vigilant about keeping gate closed for our dog. We hired Bearded Builders to do a complete remodel of our 26 year old master bath. They completely gutted the old bathroom, removing a wall, the existing shower, garden tub and vanities. Installed custom built cabinets, a freestanding pedestal tub and a three-sided glass shower enclosure. Bearded Builders worked well with us the entire step of the way and found us alternate suppliers for plumbing fixtures when the price quote from the original supplier ran us over budget. Job site housekeeping was very good and the workmanship was top notch. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. We highly recommend Bearded Builders.

This is a group of talented individuals that knocked it out of the park with kindness, excellent communication, and most important, great skills to back up our vision for the finished look they gave the bathroom.

We recently had Bearded Builders complete renovation in our laundry room after a water malfunction with the washing machine. The job consisted of damage removal, a new tile floor, cabinet replacement, wall painting and new baseboard. We were very pleased with both the work quality and the workers, both being first rate.

We called around for estimates, but like the way Dave presented himself. We had Bearded Builders do two projects for us at the same time. We had our bathroom completely torn down and rebuilt. The shower looks like something out of a spa villa. They built a large walk in shower with a ADA certified fold-able seat. They installed a two sink granite counter top with sunken bowls. The electrician replaced the old wiring with new, and the plumber ran new lines where they were needed. They tore up the old flooring and replaced it with vinyl flooring. Then they painted everything perfectly. The second project was our very large kitchen. They started by removing the old windows and replacing them with dual 55 inch wide windows. Then they removed the drywall due to tile, and replacing it with new . They removed our old counter tops and replaced them with granite. It looks amazing. The electrician replaced the old wiring with new, and the plumber ran new lines where they were needed, even fixed my gas line for the cook top. There was a breakfast bar with a gas cook top range in the center that removed the old counter top and replaced with granite. Bearded Builders even was able to fix some broken cabinets for us. Everyone was outstanding and worked their butts off. They were quick, but took their time to pay attention to the little details, things that another contractor would have cut corners on. I can not say enough nice things about Bearded Builders. The work that they have done is outstanding and it shows. My house looked good before, but after their work, it took my house to another level.

I hired Bearded Builders to demo a bathtub and shower stall, install tile and tub, plumbing, and floor tile. They did an excellent job. Very thorough and completed on time and on budget. We had previously hired the Dave and his employees for an entire kitchen remodel in 2012 and a bath / closet remodel about 15 years ago. Again, very professional, on time, and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend this company for any home improvements you may need.

I researched at least 5 contractors, including the local brand names in the Baltimore market and I selected Bearded Builders as my contractor. I was not sure that I was picking the best contractor at the time, but I felt good about it. As it turned out, I could not have picked a better company to do business with. They had the best qualities that you look for in a contractor. They did what they said they were going to do everyday. The price quoted was what we paid. They showed up everyday at 8 am and finished everyday at 5 pm. How many contractors do that? They cleaned up everyday and always worked neat and safe. They would review there work with me and would make adjustments whenever needed. The team was always friendly and polite. I could not have picked a better partner to work with. The quality of their work is at the top and my wife and I are very pleased with everything they did.

The Bearded Builders installed glass subway tiles for my kitchen backsplash. Perfect job from start to finish. They are currently replacing my slate firplace surround with a quartz slab . Project going well. Dave, Nick and his co worker are all professional, knowledgable, do great work and meet all deadlines. Their pricing is very fair and very competive. Bearded Builders was recommended to us by our plumber who we have used for years. The owner, Dave Price gave us a very competitive quote to totally renovate our outdated bathroom. Dave's son Nick and his helper Ryan did an outstanding job gutting the old bathroom and installing new wallboard, tile to the ceiling in the bath and on the floor. A new vanity and sink and shower hardware was also installed. Dave Price was on site every day to inspect the progress of the work and to see if we had any problems or questions. All of the work was of the highest quality and very detailed. Nick and Ryan cleaned up the work area every day before they left. They were very professional and easy to work with throughout the whole project. I would use this company for future projects and would recommend them to family and friends.

All very professional workers that completed the remodel in a very timely fashion, in less then a week. The workers came everyday when they said and left my house in a clean condition. Bearded Builders did a fantastic job creating a stacked stone fireplace wall for an electric fireplace insert. It really complements the room and makes a beautiful focal point. My neighbors and friends couldn"t wait to see it and they all were very impressed. The whole team was very professional and met the deadline and stayed within budget. I also had them install 3 new pendant lights over the kitchen counter to replace a lighting fixture the Builder had installed. Attention to detail was especially excellent by installation crew. The installers are all top notch and acted professionally, courteously, and friendly. Westmoreland Designs remodeled our upstairs bathroom. They had to remove and replace pipes from our upstairs bathroom to our basement. They removed all old appliances, tile walls and tile floors. Dave and his crew replaced the wall and floor tile, installed new appliances, new electrical outlets, painted the walls, ceiling, and trim. My bathroom looks better than I imagined and Dave and his son Nick were always on time, always left my house in good order, were patient with changes that I made and were very respectful. I will definitely be in touch with Dave for any additional projects that I might have and highly recommend him and his company.

We hired Westmoreland Design and Build to renovate the main bathroom in our 80-year-old house. The renovation was necessary because of a significant plumbing failure. Dave Price was responsive and helpful during the planning phase of this unanticipated project, providing us with suggestions and guidance on how to proceed. Because the plumbing issue was unanticipated in its timing, we had not given any thought at all to bathroom remodeling and had MANY decisions to make…we had to take the room down to the studs and start over. When the work began, Dave and his crew were prompt and reliable and took care to protect the rest of the house throughout the very messy demolition phase of the work. The plumber (Don Korman) did a complete and careful job, replacing all pipes from the bathroom to the basement. Westmoreland’s craftsmanship was more than satisfactory, and they kept to the timeframe that was originally identified. Dave made a special effort to ensure that I had a working bathroom for a long-planned family party! We are particularly pleased with the tile work (floor and tub walls). We definitely recommend Westmoreland for bathroom renovation projects.

This is the second time I have used Westmoreland Designs and I couldn't be happier! They did a fantastic job remolding out master bathroom as well as repairing some of the mistakes made by the folks that remolded our new home. My wife and I are so pleased we are currently in discussion about other projects we can get them involved in. We highly recommend working with them!

Dave and his team created a bathroom in our basement in the course of about 2 weeks. We were nervous working with a contractor because of the horror stories we heard about people taking your money and not completing the job. We decided to work with Dave because he came highly recommended from our real estate agent. He was timely, knowledgeable, professional and a nice guy. We are very happy how everything turned out and look forward to working with him again on future projects in our new home.

I would highly recommend using Westmoreland Design for any home projects that you may have. They recently finished my basement and did an outstanding job. I am satisfied with all of the work that was done, including a full bathroom, exercise room, bar/ rec room, living room, built in shelves around TV, and a fish tank in the wall. If I was not happy with someone that was done they were able to modify it so it met my standards. Also, they were very fair with the price for the job. Overall, I was very pleased and would use them again for other home projects.

Westmoreland Design and Build just completed my kitchen remodel. I wanted to keep my old 1980s oak cabinets and update the rest of the kitchen to include adding a dishwasher and over-the-range microwave. The owner, Dave Price, is wonderful to work with. I told him what I wanted to do and he provided suggestions on how to get the job done. Westmoreland Design and Build replaced the kitchen countertop and backsplash, added two kitchen cabinets to allow for addition of the microwave and dishwasher, replaced the linoleum floors with ceramic tile, built a small countertop area to replace the old desk area, replaced wall paneling with drywall in the seating area and added white maple cabinets and countertop to an alcove area. I love my remodeled kitchen and so does everyone who has stopped by to see the completed renovation. I would definitely recommend Westmoreland Design and Build.

Recent work by David Price's Westmoreland Design and Build, was the third and largest job he's done for over the past few years. We appreciated the workmanship and reasonable prices of the first two so much that we didn't even bother to seek other bids after going over Dave's. The construction had three major components. The first was redoing our deck and enclosing a portion of it between our kitchen and the open deck. The result was a small, but very pleasant casual dining and visiting space. The remainder of the work consisted of gutting first and a second-floor bathrooms and completely rebuilding them with modern tile floors and fixtures. The house was built in 1930 and had the usual older house quirks, so these were not easy jobs. The result, however, was even better than we anticipated. We were quite pleased with the quality of the work, and with Dave's helpfulness and patience. The job was also done as close to on time as work on an old house can be and with minimum disruption to our lives.. We highly recommend Westmoreland. Ron and Gayle Walters

I would 100% recommend Westmoreland Design and Build. My kitchen has been transformed into exactly what I dreamed about. The work day started on time and and was kept very neat during the process. All employees were very professional and respectful. I will be using them again for my bathroom.

Got the kitchen of my dreams. Dave & his son Nick were very professional, exceptional carpenters and also had very helpful hints for the design of the kitchen. They are personable, easy to work with, met deadlines and budget. Removed a load bering wall between dining room & kitchen and added an arch to divide the rooms. Also moved wall out 9 inches to make space for dishwasher. Turned out great. Only gave 4 stars since the drywall on our kitchen ceiling has cracked and needs to be redone. Not looking forward to the dust mess to fix this problem and they are not sure why this happened. My only other complaint is the dust control during construction. Flimsy plastic was used to cover openings, with tape, to other rooms when they had heavy duty plastic in a box on our porch that would have done a much better job or even something more substantial would have been appreciated. Providing a cleaning service would have been nice afterwards which I read online that some contractors provide when job is complete.

The Westmoreland team did such a great job that I continue to hire them over and over again. They have done my kitchen, basement, bathrooms and exterior doors. They are very flexible, easy to work with and most importantly trustworthy.

David and his crew refinished our outdated bedroom closet. Dave's attention to detail and craftsmanship is like no other. Aside from the actual work they do, David is very professional and personable. He is thorough and takes great pride in his business. Mr. Price and his son and several subcontractors (electrical, plumbing & painting) he normally employs did a complete kitchen remodel project for my wife and I. Our existing, 40-year old kitchen was gutted to the exterior walls, load-bearing walls were relocated, and the entire kitchen footprint was altered - the only thing that stayed the same was the kitchen sink stayed under the same window. We found Westmoreland Design and Build to be professional and thorough, the pricing competitive, and the entire finished project to be of high quality throughout. Mr. Price and his crew showed up promptly every day until the project was completed. Mr. Price, though quiet, was very friendly and considerate of our home, and made many key recommendations that we incorporated into our kitchen design. Adequate steps were taken to control dust and debris, and clean-up was performed at the end of every workday. I feel Westmoreland Design and Build added significant value to our home by creating a beautiful kitchen that encompassed all of the features and design elements my wife wanted to incorporate. I would not hesitate to contract with them again for an interior remodeling project - such as a bathroom or master bedroom suite - and have, in fact, already recommended them to my neighbors, who have also contracted with them.

Dave and his crew did an excellent job on our master bathroom. The bathroom was gutted and we had new tile, frame-less shower doors, a new jacuzzi tub and a new vanity installed. He finished our basement over 10 years ago and it still looks great.

Dave totally remodeled our master bath, and we were (and still are) delighted with the results. The project came in on budget and on time. Quality of Dave's work was outstanding. He was great to work with, and he went out of his way to work with us on changes we made, We would recomnend Dave highly and will definitely hire him again if we have future projects. Pete & Karen
