This is the second home we remodeled with Neil, and we couldn't be happier. He only uses quality materials and does them justice with outstanding craftsmanship. Every detail is thought through and discussed. Our design team drew up some very creative features and I was concerned that they wouldn't look as good, or work as well, as designed. They came out even better. Everyone working on his team, from demo to final paint, are wonderful individuals. Which is especially important since, once they start the job, they are there every day, and on time. When they do leave at the end of the day, the cleanup effort is remarkable. Having had the prior positive experience, we decided to stay in the house during the renovations and never regretted it. Neil's experience and knowledge is outstanding, and it is all reflected in our (now) beautiful home. But it's his character that stands out in the end. Honest and trustworthy, thoughtful and conscientious, starts as a contractor and ends as a friend.

Our recent project included a renovation to our 1920's home and a substantial new addition. Neil and his crew executed perfectly in both regards. Neil is exacting and expects his sub contractors to be as well. He is a good listener, detail oriented, and above all, honest and trustworthy. Neil Bulbin at Stan Bulbin Custom Builders is, far and away, the best builder we ever worked with. From the planning stages, to design to execution of the project, Neil was there every step of the way to make sure we were making good decisions and that we would be happy with the final product. Neil takes only one job at a time so he was onsite at our project every single day. Every sub-contractor knew what they were supposed to accomplish each day, and Neil was ever present to make sure all work was done on time and to his exacting specifications. At the end of each work day, we would always find Neil cleaning the job site so that at no time was there ever a mess. Neil's presence also guaranteed that if any unplanned changes were necessary, they could be worked into the project. Neil is a perfectionist and his attention to detail ensured the end result would be exactly what we wanted. Our job was a complete redo of our master suite including a completely redesigned bathroom with an outdoor shower and steam bath. Every morning we look around our room and bathroom and say what a beautiful place we live in. We credit Neil for getting us to this happy place.

My wife Mary and I purchased a 1926 Coral Gables home with plans to make significant upgrades to the structure and install high quality finishes. It was a complex project that required both skill and the ability to improvise given the age and historically protected status of the home. Moreover, Mary is an experienced interior designer who had ambitious design goals for our project. For my part, staying sane during the renovation was my highest ambition. Anyone doing construction in Miami knows that too many builders have extremely low standards for quality and could care less about their reputation. Fortunately for us, Mary had worked on a previous project for a client whose general contractor was Neil Bulbin. She asked Neil to meet with us and by the end of his interview, I was crossing my fingers that he would take on the project. Mr. Bulbin is a highly skilled hands-on builder who takes pride in his product. Neil understood that we wanted a first-class finish but with budget discipline. He delivered a superb product and on schedule. The budget was exceeded somewhat but considering how well things went from start to finish, it was a small price to pay because Neil really is that good! Our kitchen was dated and truth to be told, in bad shape. Therefore we completely remodeled it and I cannot say enough about Bulbin Custom Builders. Neil Bulbin had us work with his select team and every one of them was of the very highest quality and professionalism. Neil Bulbin himself pays attention to every detail of the project, making sure you understand all the possibilities and that you make the best possible decisions for what you want to achieve. In addition to the kitchen, we had repair work done on our roof, had the entire exterior and interior painted, had some of our sub-floor repaired, renovated and added to our exterior lighting, rewired and upgraded our internet and cable service and so on. All with the sub's that Neil recommended and all of them were the best. We waited over 9 months for Bulbin to become available to start work and we're so glad we did! Neil is an engineer and brings this professional training to the project. He is highly organized and uses checklists and other tools to keep the project on track and on time. Neil brings quality to the project by providing a stable of skilled sub contractors. With Neil, sub contractors are selected by the quality of their work not by price. His experience and relationship results in value for the cost. Our project came in on budget and on time. We were thrilled with the results.

Neil Bulbin was great. The project was the renovation and remodeling of our kitchen after a kitchen fire. He was always professional in managing our project. This is the second time we have used Stan Bulbin Custom Builders and it was an another Fantastic experience. Half our hour was destroyed by Hurricane Irma September 10. We hired Stan Bulbin Custom Builders September 11. It was a pleasure working with Neil Bulbin and all his Subs. When Neil told us what day and time they would be there, they showed up right on time and completed the job to perfection. Neil and all his Sub's were very professional and on budget. We had to wait to get started as his roofer was backed up. It was well worth the wait. Once we were water tight then the inside was completed to perfection and projected cost. We would higher him again in a heartbeat.

Originally built my home using Stan Bulbin Custom Builders back in 1988. Now starting on renovations I wouldn't use anyone else! Neil Bulbin's attention to detail, his accessibility and his knowledge is far superior to anyone else I could have chosen. He discusses the project not only in advance but through out, never leaving out the smallest of details. Neil is on the job site everyday and he supervises everything! He uses only the best subcontractors who are a pleasure to work with and always respectful of both me and my home. There is no one better to complete my project!
