We had the pleasure of working with Jim Towery on a major landscaping re-design for our front and back yards. As both a Landscape Architect and Horticulturist with more than 30 years of invaluable knowledge and experience, Jim has quite a bit to offer… and he really came through in providing an incredible finished product! We were referred to Jim after dealing with someone else who was much less qualified to lead our project. He quite literally saved our lives (and prevented many grey hairs) by eliminating chaos using an astute level of professionalism and bringing order to our project that we nearly lost hope with. He was attentive to our needs, provided great resources, and made himself readily available to answer questions and resolve any issues that came along. Our yards now look amazing. We host many social events at our house and inevitably guests tell us how much our yards make them feel like they are at a resort, rather than a home. We were astoundingly blessed to have found him and now consider him a valued friend and a go-to resource as our yard continues to settle in and blossom. Anyone should consider themselves lucky to have Jim Towery design and oversee any type of landscaping project. He is truly THE BEST Landscape Architect! His wife, Becca, is pretty amazing, too

I found that Mr. Towery of Coastal Gardens Landscape was a pleasure to work with. He always responded to my calls in a timely manner, but most importantly, his design work was great. I requested xeriscape plants that were salt tolerant, but did not want anything to look like desert plants. I wanted a tropical look. Mr. Towery is a good listener and did precisely what I wanted. Not only did he meet my expectations, but he surprised me with a more beautiful design than I had expected.

Jim is a great person and a very talented and experienced landscape designer. He understands the clients and builder needs and does a great job working through the matrix of ideas to design the best landscape plan for your budget. He also knows what most of the plant materials cost, so he designs with that in mind unlike many other designers that have no clue of dollar costs or availability.

Coastal Gardens provided Excellent Landscape designs and consultation throughout the Process. Great communication facilitated by Jim Towery between City, County, Builder and Homeowners. We look forward to the next Project with Coastal Gardens Design Team.
