Steve Webster of C & S Contracting helped redesign our stairway and we could not be more pleased. When we learned from the company who installed our hardwood floors our stairway/ spindles were not code and were not able to be salvaged we were at a loss as to how to proceed. Fortunately, a local company we happened to contact knew of Mr. Webster. We were delighted with his work. He listened to what we wanted and provided us with choices to attain "the look" while helping us make the best decision for the space. Not only did we achieve a safe, quality stairway and railing, but we love the look! As a side note, Mr. Webster knew we were having company for Christmas that included young children so he came after normal work hours and worked on his days off to get the job done, always cleaning up and caring for our home like it was his own. We would definitely use this talented artisan again.

Steve did an amazing job on our new staircase! He was very helpful initially giving us suggestions regarding colors and design, and we could not be happier with the result. It is such a beautiful addition to our home. Steve and his team were very efficient and prompt. They always kept the work area clean and neat. Took me 4 contractors before I found Steve. Did fantastic job. Remodeled split foyer stairs and railing.matched it perfectly to new hardwood floors. Enjoyable to enter house and view new stairs and railings. Changed the whole complexion of the house. Using Steve on another project in family room. If you want a professional, call Steve.

If you are looking for a specialty contractor, look no more. Steve is very professional and meticulous in his craftsmanship. Steve built our four beautiful bookcases (pictured) which turned out great. The bookcases appear to be built-ins, but are indeed standalone. This will allow us the ability to move them if/when we ever decide to. Steve did such good work on the bookcases that we also had him build a gate for the top of our staircase. This has provided safety for our grandchildren as well as a beautiful focal point to the stairs. Thanks Steve for providing us with such wonderful additions to our home. We look forward to working with you again in the near future.
