DeSantis Landscapes is a family-owned, nationally recognized landscaping company in Portland Oregon with offices in Salem and Portland. Two of our managers were recently trained and certified under the Vegetated Water Quality Facilities Management program through Clean Water Services and Portland Community College and are now certified to maintain these increasingly ubiquitous development features (i.e. bioswales and detention ponds). From a budget and time perspective, we have found over the years that certain sizes of projects are in our wheelhouse and others are not. Weekly Maintenance: Commercial and large residential. Typical contract is $600 plus/month for full maintenance services. DeSantis rebuilt a collapsing retaining wall for me. The project was done swiftly and well by a professional and friendly crew. I've hired them to maintain my sprinkling system as well. Being new to Oregon, it was important for me to find someone I could trust to give good advice, and service at a competitive price. I found that in DeSantis.

We worked with Tara from DeSantis Landscapes and she was wonderful. She designed a beautiful landscape for our front and back yard. What I especially liked was that she was able to create a landscape design within our price range, she was flexible and very friendly. Tara included various plants that bloom throughout the year and make the yard interesting. A few of the plants died and they were replaced without any charges. My husband and I love to sit in the back yard now that we have a beautiful landscape. I would highly recommend DeSantis Landscapes.

They take care of the maintenance of our large landscaped property, and all details are handled beautifully. Their crew is professional and their crew chiefs are easy to reach and immediately responsive whenever a concern or question arises. We interviewed several Landscape companies for our dream home. From the moment we met Tara it was clear we didn't have to look any further. She was able to wrangle our many ideas into perfect harmony. We got a clear itemized plant list and cost list. Work began bright and early on the day promised by very professional people with Tara there and overseeing our project. Most of the plants survived the first winter and the ones that didn't Tara replaced herself on a Saturday morning on her own time. Everyone that walks by our house comments how lovely our front yard is. Even though our 7 blueberry bushes weren't even a year old and pretty small I picked 10 quarts, this summer. We started planning our back yard plan. This is a huge project that includes a cottage, chicken coop, pollinator garden, water feature and more. We are awaiting our start date at the end of this month. We could have saved a lot of money and had the same old grass and bush Landscape, we could have tried to do it ourselves. We wanted quality and extraordinary. We got that and more, and we feel we got our money's worth. We are more than happy with the results.

These guys have provided my weekly maintenance service for over 10 years, and have installed some projects as well, so they're very consistent and reliable. The maintenance crews are always great to work with.

I have received weekly maintenance from DeSantis Landscapes for the past 6 years. My account manager, Jamie, is great. Whenever I call her, she always sorts out everything I ask for. I've noticed high turnover in the staff, and some of the crews have been great, while others were not. Whenever I have a problem, however, I can count on my account manager to work through it.

DeSantis Landscapes does great work. They are very responsive to any of our needs, complete everything we ask of them, and have good suggestions for the maintenance of our property. We had them install our landscape in 2000 and they have been maintaining it ever since; their work is always in good shape.

Kommentiert: what is the typical cost to install per sq ft?Paul, a lot would depend on site and soil conditions, if we could dispose of the excavated soil on site and access, but generally speaking it would be around $16-18/SF.

Kommentiert: What kind of stone is used in this pathway? What 'base' was used?This is a basalt flagstone quarried here locally in Molalla, OR. The base is 3/4" minus gravel and the stones are set in 1/4" minus gravel.
