Houde Design is a full service Interior Design and Home Staging Presentation Company based in Southborough MA, but services all of Metro West and Boston. The company prides themselves in providing flexible styles that would appeal to anyone's needs. Our projects range from a simple space planning to an entire home renovation including Kitchen and Bath Designs. Dan prides himself on his attention to detail, expert project and budget management, and customer service skills. It is his goal to work closely with clients to create living spaces that truly reflect their individual tastes and preferences. We work closely with Builders and Realtors to create a Home Staging Presentation that will sell homes quickly and in most cases with a higher offer. We have a 15,000 sq ft of warehouse space based in Southborough with 3 million dollars in inventory. We customize every Staging Presentation to maxmize the appeal of each home. We also manage Staging Presentations in homes that need assistance with the prepping of the home before it goes to market.

Dan is a talented designer/ decorator. He is a pleasure to work with and listens well. What we appreciate is that he incorporates furniture and or art or accessories you already own with new items he adds. His designs are both clean and uncluttered. He has great taste combining neutral colors with interesting contrast. He makes your space look new and fresh. He spends money wisely looking for sales and discounts. We love what he did in our house and would highly recommend him and his work.

I could not have a more positive review of Daniel H. Houde Design. Dan, and his colleague, Don, are pleasant and professional, and have impeccable taste! We were selling my Mom's house, and knew that we had to stage multiple rooms to attract the right buyer. It was a bit of a challenge, given that it was an older home, built in 1910, and had wood paneling in some of the rooms. After doing a walk-through with Dan, we exchanged some design ideas, and came up with a plan. We were fine with just letting him choose the color schemes, the types of furniture for each room, and the layout. The furniture/artwork showed very well in pictures, which is key for sites like Zillow, etc. Dan and Don were very quick to respond to our messages, which was a huge relief, since we were managing the sale from 1,000 miles away! Thanks to this staging company, we were able to sell our childhood home in Needham, which has been in our family for over 45 years.

I hired Dan Houde and his assistant to stage my home prior to listing it for sale. He came through the house - and composed a complete outline of proposed work and suggestions all free of charge. I was impressed with his thoroughness and vision and decided to proceed with hiring his team. He was generous with his time & resources and very considerate of our needs (working around the schedule of a 10-month-old!). He took care of everything -- putting away items/furniture that wouldn't be needed, orchestrating the disposal of equipment we no longer wanted, and crafting a setup that would look exquisite in photos while blending our existing aesthetic to a more polished one. The result-- an offer to purchase at the first open house. I've never heard of a home moving more quickly. I was impressed by Dan's work- to be sure- but beyond that, he was a pleasure to work with and cognizant of the various realities of our life (including operating on a truncated timetable). I would certainly recommend Dan to others seeking assistance staging or otherwise crafting an aesthetic that's appealing and livable.

We contacted various stagers before deciding to go with Dan -- he had the most reasonable price and his designs spoke for themselves. It's tough to find someone who has a vision, is decisive, and can get things done. He has an amazing ability to juggle a lot of projects and work with crazy deadlines.
