With Dovetail, we demo'd our old home and started construction of our new forever home using the (nearly) same footprint. In this unique situation, there were naturally some challenges along the way, but their team was always solution-oriented, positive, creative and fun. Because of this spirit and their integrity, they have very positive relationships with other necessary contractors and valuable business resources. Our CUSTOM home was completed in 11 months. We couldn't be happier!

Dovetail Construction is the kind of company one seeks but seldom finds. Everything they do from pricing to projections, completion dates and customer support are more than one hopes for. Tim and Dovetail Construction are excellent to work with – very personable, attentive to details & best construction practices, and very fun to work with! I’ve had the opportunity to construct a few residential projects with Dovetail and have been quite pleased with the process, their ability to listen, and the end results. Bozeman, MT-based Dovetail Construction is THE consummate high-end home building company! Building a home is hard, especially when the homeowners live 2000 miles away with limited time to visit the site. Co-owner Tim Rote and Project Supervisor Joe Womack made it much easier. They communicated frequently and clearly with us, the architect, and even contacted all our future neighbors to say "let us know if you have any concerns." Who does that?! They KNOW THEIR STUFF and they have INTEGRITY. They built our home as if were their own, and we welcome them back often, as they have become dear friends. They warranty their work "forever." They proudly stand by their work. As they should.

They build a high quality product. every corner and connection is tight, flush and true. Very professional crew, always respectful and neat, amazingly clean job site. This home had many complicated features and detailed wood work that Dovetail made look easy. And they finished ahead of schedule!
