Dromhus is a commercial and residential contractor that beautifully and economically brings architectural design intent to life. We do this by building connections between craftsmen, architects and homeowners; we’re straight-shooters who know that when relationships work, everyone can create to the best of their ability. We apply our experience in art and architecture in ways that challenge us, add to the conversation, and create work whose quality justifies our efforts. And finally, we realize design intent by ever deepening our understanding of our craft; we know our space like the back of our hands, and this enables us to create options that add value without cost. Drömhus has been reading minds, working miracles, and otherwise building fine homes in the San Francisco Bay Area and Wine Country since 2009. Our staff of nearly 30 comes from eclectic backgrounds ranging from art and architecture to real estate and engineering. This broad array of influences allows us to deeply understand the intention of a home’s designer and make every home a dream home, or “drömhus” in Swedish. Our work with architects such as Jensen Architecture, John Maniscalco Architecture, Dumican Mosey Architects, and many others, has been recognized by Architectural Record, AIASF, Wallpaper, and countless other organizations.
