What a disaster from the start. I sign a contract on Oct. 22 and I still can't use my kitchen fully. They were not on time (based on their 2 hour window) at any point during the install. There was a problem with getting my sink to fit after they hade cut the hole in the wrong place. So they returned my counter tops back to the shop. Then I had to give my approval to cut a 1/2" off my new sink before they would proceed to the next try to install. The second install team was much more helpful and with a slight modification to my base cabinet the sink fit after all. Now over a week later I am still waiting on it to be sealed and once again they have missed the 2 hours window. Our salesman, Larry was the worst. He never returned calls or email and I had to reach out to the GM to finally get him to contact me. Lastly, I talked to the store manger were we bought the granite pleading my case for a discount based on the issues stated above and he stated there wasn't anything he could do. And after reading the fine print in the contract you get what you get and that's it.

Extremely disappointing experience. Do not waste your time and money here, they will promise you the world but will not deliver as promised

I purchased a full set of quartz kitchen countertops from East Coast Granite & Tile. They provide truly professional service. They give great advice & sell quality products. They also do what they say they’ll do, when they say they’ll do it, at the price they say it will cost. I think they are terrific!

We had wonderful customer service from our sales representative, but not the same from the installation team or follow up conversations with the repair department. The backsplash was chipped, there was a noticeable gap between the side of the quartz and the wall, so much so that it couldn't even be caulked, and the front edge was beveled at an angle on one side. The best answer we got was that "accidents happen", "We can sell you a side splash to cover the gap", and "Your walls are crooked." I am disappointed that the company does not take more pride in their work and makes excuses instead of trying to correct the problems. We simply cannot recommend this company based off the service and quality of products we have received.

East Coast Granite rescued us on our kitchen remodel after the original contractor disappeared. They did an excellent job. Did what they said they were going to do plus. The counter top is amazingly beautiful.

Our master bath was done with a mixture of granite, marble and tile that is beautiful! The installation was professional, punctual, and perfect!

Everything looked great. Installation was earlier than expected on the day of delivery. From templates to installation was a crazy fast turnaround. The counter looks fantastic, seam was well done, and the match up of the grain was nicely done.

Wonderful experience with Geoff at the Easley Branch of East Coast Granite. He was very professional and very patient in my search for the perfect counter top. The process was very fast, especially compared to granite places in Seneca. They were also less expensive. Everything was on time or ahead of time and they were easy to work with. The installers were also very professional and nice. Great experience!

The order was processed by Thomas Trey in Spartanburg SC. on April, 14. The Prices where competitive and the promised delivery time was about 7 days for kitchen and 2 vanity counters tops. Two days after I made the down payment with a new credit card I never used before, I noticed a fraudulent charge. In addition my account was stolen. This could be a coincidence but I question the practice of writing the credit info on a piece of paper and sending it off to their main office. A lot of things could happen on the way there. I provided drawings with dimensions for all counter tops showing the location of the sinks. I explained that their templates must agree with my drawings sink locations. When the templates were made a few days later, I realized during removing the old sink, that I must replace the cabinet. I explained to the person making the template that I want the new sink where the old one was (centered between the soap dish and tooth brush holder in the wall. According to my drawing 30.25" from the wall on the right. I told Thomas the next day that I have to replace the cabinet and asked him If they could delay this vanity installation until I have the new cabinet. He said "no problem" because this vanity top is worth more than their $500 minimum charge This turned out to be a lie after talking to their Installation manager, who told me that I have to pay extra if they can't do the installation of the whole job at once. To avoid the extra charge I had to postpone the installation by several weeks. This was a real problem for me since the major reason for giving the them the job was the promised 7 day delivery. I was already over a month without a kitchen. Finally April 29 the granite was installed. Everything at first looked fine except they had no working drill bit to drill the hole for the soap dish. I also commented that using silicone and a few pieces of plywood to hold up the large heavy sink (with water it could weigh as much as 200 lbs) was not professional. I asked the installers why they did not use the (6) metal brackets that came with the sink and I was told that this is the way they do it all the time. I would have rejected this at the point when I passed on the template for the sink to the template guy if I wold have known. Right after the installers left I realized the big problem with the sink in the 60" vanity. They did not finish the installation job and the sink was 27.5" from the wall instead of 30.25" per my drawing.. They promised me that they would be back within the next week to finish drilling the hole. They had more than a week to drill the hole but It never happened. I had to go out of town for several weeks. I notified EG May, 9 that I would contact them upon my return to schedule for them to finish the job. I texted EG May, 27 that I was back in town and Thomas called to set the appointment for May, 31. On May 31 nobody showed up nor called me. I waited an other two weeks before I went to Lowe's, bought a drill bit and drilled the hole myself. A day later one of the installers called me to tell me that they would come to drill the hole. I told him it was too late. then he asked for the remaining $187 I withheld for not finishing the job. I told him that I would not pay this since I drilled the whole myself. He passed me on to his supervisor. I informed him about the other sink problem also but he insisted on paying up or he would put a lean on my house. They sent one of their counter specialists to evaluate the problem with the sink. He recommended for the counter to be replaced but said it was up to the management to decide if they will make it right. I was threatened again with legal action if I refuse to pay by Thomas. He told me that it was my fault because I changed the cabinet after they made a template. Changing the cabinet would have never made a difference if they would have listened to me and used my drawing. Summary: Unresponsive to customers wishes. Unreliable Dishonest, no refunds, no replacements. I will never give them any jobs ever again.
