My experience from start to finish was so positive that I asked them where I could write the most raving review they've ever had! Not only do I LOVE the quality of the work they did on my floors, I absolutely loved every interaction with the management and the workers. They seemed to truly care about me, their work, and my home. Communication, customer service, and their genuine friendliness were all stellar. It has been a year since we had our floor refinished and it still looks great. This is actually the second floor we've had them refinish for us. This one was a cherry floor that was much darker than the other wood we had installed ourselves. Jen looked at it and determined it would be a close match if we sanded down and refinished it. It ended up matching almost exactly! The floor is gorgeous and we love it. Jen is also the best and so knowledgeable. You can tell she loves what she does. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Elegant Hardwood Floors was an excellent company to work with. Jennifer was amazing and I could not have asked for better communication before, during and after the project was complete. We have maple wood and were told by 2 other companies that you should not stain maple. After talking with Jennifer they knew the right techniques and the floor turned out beautiful. We also added new wood to the existing wood and they were able to integrate it so you cannot tell where the old wood ends and the new wood begins. She went over all the options carefully to make sure we understood everything before we started. They took time to show us different colors for the wood and we never felt rushed making a decision. All the people working in our home were very courteous, friendly and great to work with. The quality of the work highly surpassed our expectations. The cost of the project kept to their original quote and they were right on time with the schedule we had from the beginning - we were very happy about both of these. Jen was amazing. She answered all my many questions before, during and after installation. We installed about 3,000 feet of flooring and it came out amazing. I never felt rushed when making stain color decisions. Her crew was courteous, knowledgeable and they were absolute perfectionists. Jen asked me many questions during the bid process that other company reps never asked me. That was truly what sold me on Elegant Hardwoods. They were not the cheapest but their bid was very competitive. All work - and this was a huge job - was completed on time and on budget. You will not be disappointed with this company. Jen is crystal clear on what services she is selling and she delivers 110%.

We at DFS Construction, Inc. worked with Elegant Hardwood Floors closely on a very large, unique and challenging project. While frustrations seemed to present themselves at every turn, Robert was constantly open to working with us to find the best solution possible so we could push forward. Great attention to detail was paid throughout the entire process; schedule, prep work, install, finish coats, right down to the final touch ups after furniture was moved in. Our client is thrilled with the results and we would recommend Elegant to anyone in the market for hardwood flooring.

Jennifer, Robert and their crew turned our ok looking (we thought!) but worn floor into a work of art! It is now over 600 sq st of beautifully finished natural oak. We left the newly refinished floors bare for 3 days just so we could look at how beautiful they were. We found no dust and did not have to clean up a thing after they were finished. We hated to put our furniture and pets back on it but now have as it is a very livable floor. And, they gave us the least expensive bid on the job out of 3 companies I contacted! I needed some old hardwood floor that had been under carpet for over 30 yrs refinished. I called this company for a quote. They called me back promptly, came out and gave me quote when scheduled. They were able to fit me into a hole in their schedule and the floors were done within 2 weeks of the quote. The gentleman who did the work, did an excellent job. The floors are beautiful. The company was prompt, professional, provided an excellent service for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Elegant Hardwood Floors enough! Jen, Rob and Will did an incredible job refinishing our hardwood floors and overseeing the construction of our new staircase. They are organized, always on time, work very hard and deliver an outstanding result. They are a pleasure to work with and to have in your home. I highly recommend them!

We had our entire first floor which consisted of tile and carpet replaced with hickory hardwood floors. Jennifer did an excellent job keeping us informed every step of the way. We love the work her floor carpenter and stair carpenter did.
