Elements Landscape

Doug, David and the entire Elements Landscape team were phenomenal and I have only the best things to say about what it is like to work with them as well as the hands down best looking projects and yards that they help create. Their team is meticulous with the details and has great vision helping you turn an idea into a reality. They are creative, patient, knowledgeable, extremely hard working and very good about communication/dialogue throughout the process. They initially helped us build a covered patio, full outdoor kitchen and stone fireplace & mantle with a large flat screen for entertaining and enjoying in our backyard with our family. Then two years later, we rehired them to flatten a large hill in our backyard that was unusable space. We have 3 small boys and wanted to extend the grass in our yard, put in a retaining wall with a shed we could hide to store the kids' toys and/or lawn equipment, as well as create a place for a playground for the kids and ultimately some additional relaxation space for the adults with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs...and intermixed in all of that was the desire for trees/plants/stone walls/stairs/landscape lighting to make it aesthetically pleasing. They delivered, 10/10! It was better than we expected and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Every time we step out into our back yard, it makes us smile and feels like our little oasis.

I don't have enough good things to say about working with the Elements Landscaping team. They are hands down the best home renovation company/team we have worked with to date. We hired Elements Landscape to help us with a backyard project. From the start when we obtained a quote, their professionalism and attention to detail were noteworthy. It was clear they knew what they were doing, and were able to clearly articulate what we needed and wanted to have done and how they would do it - plus added additional pieces we wouldn't have thought of necessarily due to lack of expertise. Hence why we chose to work w/ them. Our project included drainage modifications, leveling/grading/sodding, irrigation system modifications, and a back patio/ paver walkway. We had a vision about how the yard would look when they were done, but it far surpassed what we had envisioned! The quality of work is outstanding! We are in love with our new backyard, and plan to work further w/ the team on future enhancements. For the two weeks that the team worked at our house, the team was professional, hard working, and diligent. Management was constantly coming by, checking on things and giving direction. They covered every single detail, including getting a port-a-potty installed for their team. When we had one snafu with sod deliverer, they were all over it and had a plan B in a matter of hours. We were sad to see the team go at end of job. Thanks and kudos to a wonderful crew!

We had a very ambitious plan for our new home, including new outdoor living spaces and totally revamped landscaping. We knew we needed someone that was highly creative, a strong listener and would be mindful of our budget considerations, along with the capabilities to implement the design. Within minutes of meeting Doug, we knew we had found that person. While listening to our needs, Doug was constantly throwing out creative ideas in order to both inspire our plan, as well to hone in on exactly what we wanted. Within a few weeks, the plan came back and it was perfect! Doug’s partner David and his project team then swung into action and beautifully brought the plan into reality…and the outcome far exceeded our expectations! Throughout the process, Doug, David, Noel and the project team were all tremendously professional, polite, friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t have scripted a better outcome and would HIGHLY recommend Elements Landscaping to everyone.

We just finished the project on our backyard and we couldn't be happier with the amazing work Elements Landscape did! From the very first conversation with Doug all the way to the final walkthrough, we have nothing but positive things to say. I've shared their contact with our neighbors and friends, and I truly couldn't recommend them more highly! The project included moving around major sections of dirt/earth and relocating retaining walls, removing all kinds of plants and bushes that needed to be cleaned up, laying down mulch for a playground area and stone for steps and a patio area, installing sod/grass and plants, and setting up the entire irrigation system and lighting. Comparing what our backyard looked like initially with what it looks like now, you'd never believe it is the same place!! It literally seems like our backyard doubled in size! One of the biggest challenges with our property was that the backyard slopes down very steeply. Doug was super creative in actually converting that apparent limitation into something positive. His design truly maximized the utility of each area. We have two young children, and Doug was also very attentive in this regard, designing everything to be safe and at the same time selecting plants that can sustain the kids' activity around them. Communication was excellent in all respects. We were actually still out of State during the design and initial decisions phase, and yet it was very easy to coordinate and move things along. Once the work started, communication remained easy - Doug was always very quick to respond to any questions or comments, and I felt he kept us informed and involved at the exact amount we wanted. He was also very respectful of our budget goals, never surprising or forcing a decision on us, and offering creative alternative solutions whenever something unexpected came up. We changed our mind on a couple of things along the way as we saw the project evolve, and Doug and his crew were ever so patient and gracious about it. The output is stunning, and the process was seamless, so it literally couldn't have been a better experience!! Thank you so much Doug, David, Joel and your team!

We admired Elements' work/photos on Houzz and they're local, so we called him to revamp our 1990s landscaping and plan a courtyard space in our suburban ATL backyard. From the get go, Doug and his team were gems to work with. He's a grad of the esteemed UGA Landscape Architecture school, and we knew that was a real plus. Additionally, he had worked with the highly regarded architect who designed our suburban home before founding Elements with his partner. He might work with millionaires every day, but he gave us (NOT in that category) every similar consideration from our first meeting. He drew a plan for our entire property, which is highly visible in a west Cobb neighborhood. His focus was on the classic landscape design that we knew would match our architecture. He planned a courtyard/patio with spa water feature that's recently completed, and his teams were incredibly accomodating and considerate of working just feet away from our living spaces inside. He was on time and here to supervise, communicating with us very well and walking us through an expensive project. Doug was also flexible and understanding of our budget considerations. We are phasing our project and feel confident that when we're ready for the next addition, Doug will be ready as well. Classy guy, classy firm and highly recommended by us!
