We had a vacant home that wasn’t selling and we had to get the vision to the buyers. Jennifer came in with her talent and helped us stage the property. She did a great job! It made a huge difference with the staging. Our clients loved it. We got an offer right away, got into escrow and sold quickly. I’ve worked with Jennifer a couple of times, she is very easy to work with, easy going and a great communicator. The whole process is very smooth and I’ve been very happy with her services. I would absolutely recommend her!

For staging consultations, I think it’s really important to have someone who is not only objective but has no other ties to the property - (just like a buyer would). No ulterior motives other than to give honest feedback, especially when it comes to personal items. My experience with Jennifer is always positive. She is sensitive and kind to what my cleints' home is like - some people’s hobbies or decor may not resonate with the masses and they can feel judged. Jenn gives constructive feedback that is necessary, without making them feel judged for living a certain way. It’s really important and it’s a hard thing to do. She is direct in the nicest way possible so they are not offended. Jennifer is very sensitive to each situation - she doesn’t put each client in a box and give generic advice. My clients have felt satisfied with what she's told them, her advice is on target and they embrace it fully. She always works within their parameters, she has creative ideas and solutions for each property, I would absolutely recommend her!

I never sold a place before so I didn't know where to begin. My realtor said staging can get you a better price and that's all I cared about. I'm a single guy so I really don't think about this decorating stuff but Jenn made it easy. My own furniture was okay, but nothing fancy. Plus, one room didn't have anything to make it seem like a spare bedroom. After Jenn's consultation she relaxed me and assured me the place would look great. She said we could "re-purpose" some of the things I already had. She made her list of the things she would need and you could tell she was putting the vision together in her head. If I had questions, she answered them. She also appreciated any feedback, so it wasn't this design takeover where it was her way or the highway. I was pretty surprised when she arrived with all these knick-knacks, crates, pictures and rugs. Once we unloaded, she turned on her Pandora and happily went to work. As I helped her place things, she explained why she made that specific choice for a certain area. I couldn't believe it, she was spot on and the areas came to life, especially with color coordinating and textures. Things I certainly didn't think about. It took us a few hours but the result spoke for itself. Even my realtor and her photographer complimented me for the look. They were impressed I was so prepared! We were interested in finding one of the best staggers because we know how important staging is for a home. Jennifer was great working with us! The house looks fantastic! It looks much better than we expected. Jennifer is very pleasant and very flexible. She has great taste and that is the most important thing when staging a house. We expected so much and it can be hard to find the right person to collaborate with but Jenny listened to us and got the job done!

I did a one-on-one design consultation with Jennifer via Zoom - it was part consultation and part online shopping and getting ideas of what I could buy. I didn’t know how to achieve the look I wanted for my bedroom. I didn’t know how all the elements would come together. Jennifer helped me realize how to approach my bedroom more holistically rather than just focusing on one element or one thing. She also helped me understand pattern, texture and color compliments and she found a headboard I love. I didn’t realize that doing my bedroom didn’t have to be so expensive - that was holding me back a lot. After our consultation I feel like it’s definitely more doable now that I have an understanding of the different elements. Jennifer is really focused and knowledgeable and very approachable. She took away the daunting feeling of doing my bedroom and now I have a plan and know how to move forward. I’m excited because it feels so much more doable! I see the vision!

When I first saw the staging I loved it! I said to myself I want to live here! It's amazing, it's beautiful, it's comfortable, it's modern, the colors are beautiful. Jennifer is very easy to work with and very personable. She made it feel like an easy process and she really listened to what we wanted and the look we were going for!

We were restoring a Pasadena bungalow for 3 1/2 months and when it came to the staging of the house I didn’t have time to do this myself. I looked around and did lots of research and made the decision to bring somebody else in to do it. After looking at Jennifer’s work online - she had done a lot of houses in Highland Park and Eagle Rock - many of the houses that she had done were similar to mine and I loved them! The airiness, the modern feel - she really spoke to the demographic we were trying to target. The staging turned out beautifully - the colors, everything. I also appreciated she listened well and was easy to work with!

My mom had lived in her house for 47 years and there were a lot of religious objects and personal items that weren't appealing to buyers. The house had already been on the market one month and I just felt like I wanted to give it my best shot and so I called Jennifer. She is very generous with her expertise and time. She was efficient and clear with her instructions and even did a shopping trip with me so that I could purchase additional items. The staging clearly made a difference. We got more offers the first weekend with the staging than we had in the past month! And, one party was on the fence – they saw the house BEFORE the staging… then they came back AFTER it was staged and put in an offer immediately. The buyers ended up liking the look of the house so much they ended up purchasing all of the furniture which helped us get the price we wanted. I would say do not hesitate calling Jenn – do it for sure, as a part of putting your house on the market. The staging made a huge difference!

Wow! So happy with the insight that Jenn gave my wife and I. We were moving into a new house and my wife was pretty stressed and Jenn calmed her nerves by taking her time with her. She gave her advice on each room and put my wife at ease better than I ever could. I do not speak the language of design – so I knew I needed HELP in this area if I wanted to successfully spruce up my home. I just wanted it to look more modern and fresh but I truly didn't know where to start. Which items are worth spending more money on? Which room should I tackle first? How should I arrange the art on the walls? I had lots of questions. Which is why I am so grateful that I connected with Jennifer at Elysian Design. Not only is she absolutely fun to collaborate with, but she is completely respectful of my time, my limited budget, and my spouse's input. She has a very quick and creative mind so she is always able to come up with a "plan B" if something doesn't work out, or figure out a solution for any unexpected issues we run into. I have yet to stump her! Jennifer makes sure we get maximum use out of every hour that we spend on this project and, with her guidance, I am enjoying the process of seeing my rooms transform before my eyes. I hired Jennifer to stage a 3 bedroom house in Bel Air. I did not know her or anything about her at first; an interior designer that I knew I recommended her. She answered all of my questions regarding her past experience to an extent that made me comfortable enough, with the approval of my designer friend, to hire her. She exceeded my expectations by staging the house beautifully and in a short period of time. All of my concerns were addressed before I hired her and, if there were any problems doing the job, I was not aware of them (which is what I wanted). By all accounts, her work was professional as was she. I'll add that my contract with her also included professional pictures from a photographer. The house looks nicer than I imagined it would and the price was reasonable as well. Consequently, she is deserving of a great review.

Jennifer Lynn of Elysian Design is wonderful. She is helping my husband and I re-do our son's room. ( Then we'll move on to the rest of the house). She has an excellent eye and communicates with clarity and sensitivity. She is highly organized and has brought us so many great options. She is working within our budget. AND I can feel her excitement about the process as well which makes it all the more fun. I highly, highly recommend Elysian Design LA.
