We could not have been happier with the work done by Eric Linkins Custom Painting. They are pure professionals who arrived on-time (often early) every day, cleaned up after themselves every day and took pride in their work. Our old front door was in dire need of a facelift. Alex knew our goal was to stain not paint the door so Frank worked tirelessly to strip the many layers of paint without damaging the wood. We ended up with a beautiful stained door!

Eric Linkins Custom Painting is simply the best! Eric is masterful at helping with the color selection, and comes up with creative ideas. The team's attention to detail, from the extensive preparation to the meticulous painting, is really impressive. The quality is unparalleled among painters we've used. Eric Linkins Custom Painting did an amazing job on my front door and shutters. The house looks the best it's ever looked and I get compliments all the time. They did such a great job that I also had them paint and refresh my dining room, which is now the centerpiece of the house. I'm already planning my next project for them. We have now had the Eric Linkins team work on two projects in 2022. One project was in a guest room in our rowhouse and the other was on the front and our backyard area. The quality and attention to detail was what stood out to us. The team communicated the plan and followed through on each and every step. The knowledge that each team member had was impressive. The work ethic was also outstanding, especially with the outdoor project taking place in the heat of August. We do not have a great eye for color and Eric and Alex held our hand through the paint picking process with a great level of patience. The results have been stellar and we love both projects. They also will come back for a touch-up if needed. We definitely would use and recommend them to any of our friends. The Linkins team has painted both the outside and inside of our nearly 100-year-old home (separate occasions). The team is respectful, punctual, eager-to-please. They do careful, clean and beautiful work. Hard to imagine working with another painter after such good experience with them.

Eric and his crew painted the entire interior of our townhome. They were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we were satisfied. Very friendly, too! We are very happy with the job they did. We'll definitely use them again when we have other painting needs, and we highly recommend them to others.

I could not have been more pleased with the work Eric's crew did on my front door. Few painters know how to properly apply the European oil based paint that was used on my door. I've had other experienced painters use this paint, but the finished product was not satisfactory. In contrast, Eric's painters did a masterful job from the important preparation phase to the final coat of paint. Moreover, they were courteous and efficient.

I wasn’t looking forward to the hassles of having a contractor working at the house for a couple of week, but my fears were misplaced. Eric Linkins gave me the best AND easiest painting work ever. He and his crew are top-notch artisans who know how to paint and how to handle every part of the work. They painted the exterior of my home (except brick), expertly repaired rotten surfaces on dormers with epoxy (I wanted to keep the existing materials), changed out under-eave vents (plastic to painted aluminum) and gave my tired front door the full Dutch door treatment. The dormers worried me because I wasn’t sure how they would work on them without damaging the slate roof, but I figured they had plenty of experience on slate and I was not disappointed. We used FPE paint exclusively, with Eurolux on siding and trim. Eric helped me get over the hump of picking colors, and recommended colors for both the body of the house (stone) and front door (red) that perfectly complement the brick and slate. The Eurolux paint itself is fantastic — it has just the right level of sheen to be fresh and even the neutral stone color has depth and complexity. The front door, in Hollandlac brilliant paint, has a remarkable mirror surface that I know will also wear extremely well. Experience real quality make a difference, and are worth paying for when the results matter. If that weren’t enough, Eric, his son Alex and his whole crew are great people and you’ll miss them when it’s all done!

We were initially drawn to Eric Linkins Custom Painting because of the beautiful doors done with Fine Paints. We went for the complete paint job. From repair of rotted trim and preparation for painting, Eric, Alex and the rest of the team were professional and detailed oriented. It isn't hyperbole - our home seems to sparkle and we now have a gorgeous front door.

Is it wrong to love your front door? Probably. But Eric’s craftsmen took it from dull and ordinary to dazzling. It has elevated the whole house. These aren’t just painters, they are artisans who use quality materials and produce exceptional results. They do several days of sanding, patching, and priming before they do the painting and it makes a huge difference. They also reinstall the door each day so you are always secure. We look forward to using the team again on some interior projects.

Eric Linkins professionalism is aboveboard. Although this is a local company, their craftsmanship and work product is world class.
