M Design

M design is a Best of Houzz award-winning boutique interior design & decorating firm based in West Vancouver, BC, servicing the entire North Shore from Lions Bay to Deep Cove. I have been in the consulting industry since 2000. I combine my professional business background with my extensive education and my innate design sense to create a rare and valuable skill set that allows me to both creative and extremely details-oriented---often a rare combination in this industry. I have a Bachelor of Arts, an Master in Business (MBA), and a Interior Decorating Diploma. My clients find that I am a thorough, reliable project manager and creative problem solver that can competently work with both deadlines and budgets. I share with my clients an incredibly talented and dependable team of trades including plumbers, painters, electricians, carpenters, millworkers, tile setters, and upholsterers. I bring all of these resources to the job and together we all work as a team to provide a smooth and enjoyable creative process from initial design stage to final implementation. I am also very down-to-earth and easy to work with. My expertise includes: project management of kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and mudroom renovations; space planning; lighting design & planning; furniture selection & refurbishing; bedroom updates including custom furniture and bedding, paint colour consultation; styling & accessorizing; and more. My goal is to design spaces for clients that are classic, thoughtful, personal, fresh, timeless, and grounded in simplistic beauty. I find inspiration everywhere.
