We contracted Denny and his team to rebuild our pathway and revamp the front yard. They did an excellent job on the design and were very flexible in dealing with my existing rose bushes . As the project progressed we added additional work which was done on time and with quality. They were attentive to our needs through and were diligent about every small detail , going above and beyond the letter of the contract. Very happy with the whole experience and would work with them again

They just finished the work on our house and it is beautiful. They ripped out our old 30+ year old overgrown front landscaping and replaced it with new smaller slow growing more colorful bushes. We love it and have gotten compliments on it already. They also redid our slate walkway and cleaned and repointed our front stoop which added to the new look of the front of our home. They showed up every day rain or shine. And we will be using them again for additional work.

Denny and his crew are very good... technical, thorough, and communicative. We have a small yard and they mow our grass and blow the leaves off of our back porch once/week. We also used them for an initial spring cleanup and our house looked amazing. At this point I would trust Ginkgo with much bigger jobs. It's such a comfort to work with an outfit that is talented and actually cares. Highly recommend!

We recently hired Ginkgo Group to construct a bluestone patio, a pétanque court, and complete several plantings in our garden. From start to finish, their craftsmanship and attention to detail were impressive. We hired Ginkgo to perform a landscape rendering of our property. We were so happy with the rendering we hired them to build the entire project in house. We were very happy from the beginning of the project to the end. Would definitely recommend them.

In my opinion I would not use or recommend Ginkgo to do any work. I had a horrible experience with leaks,job never completed and overall poor quality and a multitude of lies. Stay away!! Totally unprofessional. Never returned to fix the many problems.

The crew arrived on time and worked very hard moving stones to a different location after removing lariope and pruning shrubs. They also removed a dead tree which they replaced with a new tree. They worked a full day, and were respectful. Before leaving they hosed down the walkway and driveway. In addition, the supervisor answered any questions we had and was easy to work with. We are very pleased with the work that Gingko did.

Ginkgo group did a fantastic job on our backyard, their work is impeccable. We had them do a fire pit, pool area, pergola and kitchen. I have had numerous friends come and ask me for pictures so they can copy what we have done. Super impressed. If i have one improve it’s time management, but since COVID was brewing I’ll give them a pass. Really I cant say enough about their work and design. My backyard could easily be in a magazine.

Every email, text, and call was answered almost immediately. Not only is Denny knowledgeable and professional, he is truly a nice guy and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He helped us a design a complete outdoor renovation, including a gorgeous pool, spa, and patio. He always paid attention to small details which we really appreciated, and ensured the layout of the yard gave us maximum use of our space. Everyone on the Ginkgo Group team is extremely courteous, punctual, and efficient. You can tell they truly want to make their clIents happy. Our backyard has been transformed into a paradise! I hired Gingko because they were doing nice work on a house around the corner. They returned my call quickly, gave a very fair quote, and as soon as they received my deposit they started work the same day. They came regularly until the job was done, and then came back to fix one small detail I wanted slightly differently. Denny was very responsive to my calls and text messages. The crew was respectful of my property and cleaned up after their work. I would be delighted to work with them again!

Project went smoothly with Denny. Plan was laid out with drains to remove existing landscaping, install and renovate brick patio. The change of design he recommended was stunning. I love the herringbone design of the brick. He was able to adapt the project for unforseen issues as roots, moving sprinklers. The existing concrete block was removed and replaced with a decorative block. He was able to complete the project in a very small backyard with limited access. All manual labor was required. The project came out beautiful.

After interviewing 3 custom pool builders, we decided to award Denny from Ginkgo Group our project. We really were impressed with the education process and creative touch that Denny helped us with, not only with our pool, but with the entire project from design to the build process. Denny was a bit more in cost then other pool builders that we interviewed, but the knowledge that he brought to the table, customer service they offer, was to hard to pass up. Denny and Ginkgo Group were great to work with. I hired Denny in October 2019 to install a patio with pavers in my backyard. He also did some great landscaping in my front yard as well as install drainage in both the front and back. There were some delays in the winter due to weather but Denny was extremely professional while keeping in touch and always giving us updates regarding the project. We are very happy with how the project turned out and would recommend Ginkgo to anyone.

Gingko redesigned our backyard, by extending it, removing trees and bushes , adding privacy giant trees , and creating a bluestone patio ...and they did a fantastic job a first . Fastforward a 1.5 y later when we refinished our basement , the contractor noticed a damped wall along where the patio was done. He noticed that the patio was not grated properly and in fact angled Towards the house, hence the damped wall. We contacted Denny ( owner) and told him about the issue, but he left us hanging for months. We decided to hire someone to measure the grading of the patio which confirmed that the patio was not graded properly. We reached out to Denny again and again, and he would leave us hanging. It has been now over a year of asking him to come and look at it. We have a 5 year warranty on the patio, and he didn’t get the courtesy to even show up and look at the issue. At this point we are looking into legal actions. It’s a shame because I truly thought he would come and take care of the issue. Update : Gingko came back and fixed the issue :). His new team was on top of it and hopefully now everything is in order.

We contracted with Gingko Group to do our Fall cleanup and also remove several old shrubs. With Denny's knowledge we worked out a plan for replacements in these areas. He communicates well, is very professional, and the quality work was completed in a timely manner. They also did some repair of sinking pavers on our patio. The price was reasonable and we look forward to using their services in the future.

Denny is one of the most honest and caring people I've met. He is fair priced and very knowledgeable. You can tell he has a kind heart. He listened to what I needed and helped with various suggestions- since he is the professional we went this his suggestion. He was tentative in making sure everything went right and followed up with me on everything from questions to coming back and checking the work they did. He was mindful of our budget and stayed within it. During the project he made sure not to go over the property line (which PSEG owns) and worked within the thought space he had. I will definitely be hiring him again for more future projects and I found my landscape guy! They are hard to come by and he's one you'll be calling back over and over again.

I highly recommend Denny and his company for landscape design and construction. Prior to hiring Ginkgo Group, I interviewed Denny and two designers from other companies and told them what I wanted in a backyard renovation. All three provided me with a design for the renovation, but Denny was the only one who truly understood what I wanted. He presented me with a knockout design that led me to hiring Ginkgo Group. From that point on, Denny and his employees carried out the project exceptionally well, including listening to my concerns and addressing them, and making changes that I requested (there were many). I especially appreciated Denny's commitment to communication. In fact, I have never, ever met a designer/contractor who responds to texts as quickly as Denny. He answered every single one of my questions promptly (and there were many). It's clear that Denny makes an effort to deliver exceptional customer service. Please look at the pictures of the project, which included a new hardscape design and new trees and plants. I am quite happy with the result and certainly recommend Denny for your landscape project.

I worked with Denny and team on a medium sized project for planting a number of large trees, pruning existing ones and generally updating the yard. Very happy with the results. The best part was the responsiveness and availability which is we know is not a strength of a lot of businesses in this space. The process of engaging was very smooth and the work was very well executed. The quality of plantings is also outstanding. I would recommend them and will be working with them on other projects. After interviewing a total of 3 landscape designers, we had chosen Ginkgo over the other 2 firms. Ginkgo was very down to earth, and not your typical sales firm just trying to sell a project. We had a great experience with Ginkgo group when we decided to add some curb appeal and replace our dated concrete walkway from the driveway with pavers, extend our porch and add a new walkway from the sidewalk to the front door. The result was more than curb appeal it was a complete transformation. Many of the neighbors have stopped by to compliment the work. Couldn’t be happier with the result.

The Ginkgo Group did an amazing job transforming our 'once boring' ranch home into the front yard of our dreams. Dennis' creative eye for well-designed landscaping instantly improved the curb appeal of our home. His work included a walls of trees for privacy from the road and a beautiful lavender walkway. The shrubs, plants and flowers he chose really created a tranquil feel to what we currently had around the property. Dennis is very responsive and the crew's attention to detail was superb. Back in 2007 we had Zem Group design and install a full outdoor back yard landscape plan for us. They were very professional, as well as accommodating with schedule from start to finish. There are several reasons why we hired Zem, aside from there great communication, Professional staff, the fact that they build the entire project all under one roof with inside there firm is what really brought us to sign with them.
