Hawthorne Kitchens

So many issues with this company. If you are doing anything more then cookie cutter it’s a problem. Workmanship is sub par. A pull out ironing board wasn’t measured properly for installation. They couldn’t find a different one so put the old damaged one back in and said they fixed it. Pull out drawers don’t self close even after having multiple workers try to fix. We took out the drawer to find there were screws missing and the drawer wasn’t sitting correctly. They do not know the products they recommend and do not stand behind them or the other installers they hire for their projects. This led to a disaster in our kitchen counter tops we are stuck with. Chris could only ask for money never once wanting the customer to be satisfied or ensuring we were happy or making any of the issue right. The list goes on and on. This project with them was a nightmare. Would never recommend.

Our kitchen and dining room design and renovation experience with Chris at Hawthorne Kitchens was seamless. Hawthorne’s collaboration with their general contractor had the majority of work completed within the expected timeframe. All of the trades persons they employed or contracted were exceptional in their ability to perform their responsibilities and were courteous, timely, careful and skilled in their craft. We found that Chris and Jamey in their oversight roles were responsive and available. Their attention to final details was quite exceptional. We would highly recommend the team at Hawthorne Kitchens to anyone looking to do a small, medium or large kitchen renovation. Thanks to Chris, Jamey and all of the “team” we are enjoying our newly renovated kitchen.

One month in and I'm still in love with my kitchen by Hawthorne Kitchens! We have an older home with a smaller kitchen but the storage solutions and custom cabinetry Hawthorne provided have made a world of a difference in the functionality of our space. Nicole gave great suggestions about maximizing our cabinetry space and I can't believe how much more room I have and how much bigger our kitchen feels. Having an older home with unlevel walls/floors meant that installation wasn't straightforward but the expert installers did an amazing job. Throughout the whole renovation process Chris and Nicole listened to us and were responsive to our needs/wants. They provided wonderful customer service and great insight based on their professional and personal experience. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hawthorne Kitchens to anyone.

Many issues with the cabinets that where installed. No attention to detail. Very rushed, dings and dens...plus most drawer panels got busted because of inproper installation of the handles. Quality is very poor. Lack of accountability towards the products and services. No customer service. We where very disappointed as we expected so much more...

Hawthorne Kitchens installed all the kitchen cabinetry in the show home which I purchased a little while ago. A few years later, I contacted them to do some modifications by installing drawers that can be rolled out as these were not in place initially. Ron and his team did an excellent job! We were very happy with the meticulous workmanship and Ron's very warm and pleasant professional rapport that he established. Recently, there was an issue with a couple of the drawers that were installed for the show home. Ron was contacted and we explained the nature of the problem. A week later, Ron arranged for one of his techniciens to come over and rectify the issue. Our experience with the Customer Service provided by Hawthorne Kitchens as exemplified by Ron was simply amazing. Would recommend highly!

So happy with my new kitchen. Chris was really helpful through out the planning process. They make it their mission to get you the kitchen you want. Excellent installers and Troy the cabinet painter is an absolute wizard. They took care of the plumbing and electrical for us too. My kitchen is beautiful and far more functional. We highly recommend.

I love my new kitchen! We've lived in our house for 20 years and it was time for some serious updating. A co-worker recommended Hawthorne Kitchens to me. They gutted the entire kitchen and took down the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room, putting in a breakfast counter. I worked with Chris at Hawthorne, and he was very professional. He came up with many design ideas that I didn't even consider, and was willing to accommodate some of my own ideas, including a built-in bookcase for my cookbooks! His wife is a designer and she helped me to coordinate all the colours in the kitchen - from flooring to cupboard doors to tiling and countertop. Now my kitchen looks amazing, and I'm getting lots of compliments. My favourite part is the breakfast counter, because now I finally have a long enough section of counter to do some serious baking and food preparation. Thank you!

We had a great experience with Hawthorne Kitchens. They spent considerable time with us in choosing what we wanted and giving us advice. We never felt rushed to make a decision. The cost estimate was accurate and there were no surprises at the end. Everyone arrived on time to do the work and were very pleasant and the work was well done. We would certainly use them again and recommend them to others. We are very pleased with our new counter and backsplash.

Hawthorne Kitchens provided great design and beautiful products which exceeded our expectations in a timely manner. The project involved a new kitchen, new laundry room and a small storage room. Outstanding customer service. Would highly recommend Hawthorne Kitchens.

Hawthorne provided full service for their custom kitchen cabinets. I was very happy with their attention to detail as well as their ability to change some of the design when it was discovered that one of my kitchen walls was out 6”. They matched the oak trim in the kitchen and den to the rest of the oak on the main floor which was an important element. I would recommend them.

We were referred to Chris at Hawthorne Kitchens by our builder, and we couldn’t have had a better experience!! Chris was amazing!! We completely gutted our home and Hawthorne did all our kitchen cabinetry!! They do fantastic work, and we are sooo pleased with the final product!! Great company. Very beautiful kitchen, install was spectacular. Very personal service; very easy to deal with. They have a lot of experience about what will and won’t work from a design/kitchen use point of view but at the same time keeping aesthetics and beauty as a priority. My wife and I as a side project did a small IKEA kitchen in our laundry room at the same time. – Having experienced both the professional custom install and also the IKEA installation process there is a world of difference – you really do get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny.
