NCB ARCHITETTURA

NCB ARCHITETTURA è uno studio associato con sede a Milano, attivo dal 1998. La lettura del contesto ed il rispetto delle preesistenze sono i principi su cui si basa il fare architettura dello studio, sempre rivolto alla valorizzazione del manufatto e della sua storia. La concezione di architettura dello studio mira inoltre ad interpretare la progettualità come una risposta ad esigenze semplici ma fondamentali come la bellezza ed il comfort, in cui la prassi architettonica è intesa come un mestiere, dove il dato materiale, tecnico, produttivo non viene mai sottovalutato. La progettazione architettonica viene condotta a diverse scale, con attenzione particolare agli ambiti dell’ospitalità e del wellness, del retail, dell’housing e dell’office planning. NCB ARCHITETTURA is an architectural design studio, based in Milan and operating since 1998, founded by Riccardo Emanuele and Samuel Balasso, both graduated at Politecnico di Milano. Understanding the context and respecting what’s left from the past are two of the fundamental principles on which rests the studio’s “making architecture”, always trying to give evidence to the building and its history. The studio sees the project as an answer to simple but basic needs, such as beauty and comfort, and that’s because making architecture is a concrete trade, in which materials and techniques are never to be underestimate. The studio follows the project on different scales, focusing with specific attention when dealing with hospitality and wellness, retail, housing and office planning.
