Jon is a fabulous architect. We were particularly pleased by the way he carefully listened and creatively interpreted our vision. As the project progressed, it became even more apparent how Jon's design beautifully addressed both form and function.

John has built two very different homes for us and we love them both. John is an incredibly talented architect who is also very good at listening to clients needs and desires and developing a plan that exceeds everyone's expectations. His understated manner and pleasant demeanor makes working with him a pure pleasure.

I have worked with Jon Halper and his team on multiple multi-million dollar projects, spanning nearly 7 years, and we could not be happier with their work. Unlike a lot of architects, Jon Halper and his team truly listen to their clients' needs, and then do an excellent job of designing gorgeous spaces that reflect those client needs. Jon has the ability to "think big" for very special projects, yet is also willing and more than able to get in the weeds for smaller things that require him to think outside the box to come up with efficient, amazing spaces for his clients. Jon is also able to design both very traditional and very contemporary spaces with ease - he is has a lot of experience with both and will not force a client to accept his personal design aesthetic. Whether building from the ground up or reimagining an existing space, you will not be disappointed with Jon and his team!

Jon is great at what he does and the proof is in the finished product. I especially enjoy working with he and his staff on projects as they ask intelligent questions that help bring about the best solutions for some challenging fenestration issues. .I am happy to see how well he has used Marvin Windows on projects like his Queen Anne Shingle Style and Dutch Colonial Renovation. I look forward to working with he and his staff again in the near future.

Jon is a delight to deal with. When I had a nutty idea on my renovation he would say 'well you can do it that way but have you thought of this ?'. His ideas were always better by a wide margin. He is modest but extremely talented and knowledgeable. I might buy another fixer upper just so I can work with him again !

Jon is an extremely talented and creative Architect who’s strong sense of quality design is equally matched by his deep understanding of technical details, which in my experience is hard to find. I had the pleasure of working with Jon on a small cottage interior renovation as well as on a 30acre estate that included the design of a new 24,000SF Main House and pool, ancillary barn, and gate house. It was a complicated and highly technical project, which always benefited from his leadership. His calm and thoughtful approach and professional demeanor brought clarity to the most challenging of situations and allowed everyone to focus on productive problem solving. I would also add that I was equally impressed with his staff architects, and I felt that no matter who I was talking to in his office I was alway getting intelligent and pragmatic advice. I recommend Jon and his office without reservation.
