My wife and I cannot begin to describe how much we enjoyed working with Jenn Peterson. We had never worked with a designer before and we were anxious about a first-floor remodel we had been dreaming about for years. Jenn listened closely to vision for the space and presented us with a plan that was everything we hoped it would be and more. She presented us options that were unique to our needs and has an incredible eye for detail and color that were letter perfect. The project moved forward on schedule and Jenn was always available to us and the contractors. What was a cramped and dark dining room, kitchen, living room and family room is now a large, bright and beautiful contiguous space. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Jenn is also a lovely person and fun to talk to. We would recommend her to anyone.

Jenn designed our primary bathroom remodel as well as updated our kitchen, designed our powder room and updated other details around our house to make it feel cohesive and fresh. She is responsive to clients’ needs and makes herself easily available for questions. She oversaw the entire renovation process so we never felt concerned on installation days. She referred us a wonderful and reliable contractor, making the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Jenn’s designs are timeless and she goes the extra mile to pick finishes and details specific to her clients’ taste. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to update their home!

We loved working with Jenn. She did a great job listening and bringing all our ideas to life. She brought mine and my husband's vision together for the ultimate dream kitchen. Our decision to work with Jenn was the right one! She listened to our wish list for our kitchen and first floor remodel. She delivered a design that met our needs and exceeded our expectations. Knowing a kitchen remodel can be overwhelming, we knew we needed someone we could trust to help guide us and give us direction. Jennifer was exactly who we needed! We were impressed by her past projects and felt that she had the experience and personality to help us build our dream kitchen. Our project involved removing a wall and adjusting sizing of exterior windows and door. Her overall design and use of space was better than we could have imagined. Because she has had the experience she was able to breakdown the process for us so we knew what to expect and she kept in constant communication throughout the entire process. Jennifer had many connections already established in the home renovation world, from the construction crew to the cabinet maker to the plumbing fixtures and more. Knowing they have all worked together on previous projects, we didn't hesitate to use them as we knew the quality and craftsmanship were what we were looking for. The extra challenge of working through a pandemic didn't seem to phase her as she was on top of having us choose design details so that she could have the materials ordered and delivered in a timely manner. This was extra helpful as the construction crew was able to stay on schedule as well. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and can't thank Jennifer enough for guiding us through the process. So many details that we would not have even considered are now being fully enjoyed. Without hesitation we would recommend J. Peterson Design!

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to have worked with J. Peterson Design to remodel our kitchen and first floor. We can't say enough about the personalized attention, collaboration, and WITHOUT A DOUBT beautiful and timeless design. Because we had not previously done much in the way of remodeling, we were quite nervous to get started. But Jenn and her contractors put us right at ease. Working directly with Jenn, we received an amazing level of creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail in one package. While we had some ideas of things that we wanted, Jenn generously offered her expertise and suggestions and helped us to maximize our renovation budget. Jenn also knew just when to gently challenge us, which helped us to break some old bad habits that we are so glad to have left behind! We have now been in our new space for about a year and are so pleased with every inch of our remodel. We fell in love on Day 1 and have found we love it even more each day since!

Jennifer was our designer for a full kitchen remodel and master bedroom/bath remodel, and we could not be happier with the results! The details in the kitchen and bathroom are fantastic, the changes suggested and resulting new layout are great, and every recommendation that Jennifer made was spot on. We are thrilled with the results and Jennifer was so patient with us through the entire process. Jennifer also made provided a recommendation for a GC and we had a fantastic experience with GS construction, we feel very lucky with how hard they worked to get the project done quickly. Jennifer has an amazing eye and is incredibly talented, everyone should partner with her.

Totally satisfied after a long interior remodeling project. The end results are beautiful! Hiring Jennifer as an interior designer was the best way to go. We decided that if we were going to invest money in home remodeling, why take any chances and do it ourselves. We have lived in the house over 20 years and were never totally satisfied with remodeling jobs we did on our own. Jennifer has a very keen eye for detail, perfection and trending styles. She also coordinates the construction crews for detail and timely completion. You can't go wrong here. Worth every bit of our time and money!

Jen provided great insight into opening up the functionality of the kitchen and family room for our lifestyle. The design itself was an iterative and very collaborative process, with both sides contributing to changes/ tweaks along the way. Jen’s experience in design and functionality brought us exactly what we were looking for in the end product – not just a “pretty” space, but an area that is extremely functional and meets our family’s needs. While we provided our own contractors to perform the installation/ project, Jen was usually very accessible, and her responsiveness/ communication with us throughout the project was great. Unlike some designers who will not work with new vendors, Jen was open to not only using a cabinet maker we sourced, but she went above and beyond to help vet the vendor – including driving an hour each way to see a finished kitchen to assess quality and craftsmanship. Going through design/ layout with the cabinet maker, Jen was very detail oriented and her experience was a huge asset in knowing the industry terminology and helping us to navigate the process. Overall, in addition to her ability to functionally redesign our space, Jen provided invaluable advice and her prompt communication make her a standout designer. We would highly recommend Jen.
