Karen Hartley took my dreams and brought them into reality. I had wanted and needed a work space in my home ever since it was built 6 years ago, I delayed the addition, because I had a kitchen island, a kitchen table, and a dining room table. Now with retirement approaching and the generous gift of stamps and supplies for a card making hobby, the time had come. I did not know where to begin with my dream project. I met with Karen, explained my need and showed her my home. My first thought was to move the hobby into a bedroom and make it a multi-purpose room. Guess I was thinking “make-due” with the space I had. So glad she saw that my garage was the perfect space to build my craft room. From there on out, the craft room began to develop. Karen envisioned that the extended stairwell space off of my garage would be perfect for my workspace. She drew the blueprint, and then we met with the contractor and the cabinet maker. Karen skillfully directed the project and all deadlines were met and kept within the budget.The result was the perfect card making workspace, an improved garage floor, and a handicapped entrance into the house. Several other improvements were made, including framing the bathroom mirrors, installing new bathroom lighting, and exchanging wired laundry room shelving for laundry room storage cabinets. I have been absolutely pleased with the improvements to my home. Karen Hartley Interiors listened to my dreams, translated my wishes, and brought them to life. I would work with her again and again.
