Karl did an outstanding job on our new garage addition. It was a challenging project both architecturally and stylistically. Karl handled everything from start to finish and managed to seamlessly tie the new addition to the existing home. We couldn't be happier!

Karl was involved with the interior remodeling project from conception to completion and had the project well managed from beginning to end. The project involved various interior remodels including a kitchen and moving and changing of windows and doors. The attention to detail helped us as we completed the work so when we had a question on any design details Karl was quickly able to give us direction on how he wanted the work to be done. This not only gave the owner a wonderful end product it allowed us to continue in a timely fashion to complete the work for both Karl and his client.

Karl has been amazing to work with. Great ideas, suggestions and designs, all while being open to our thoughts and comments. Always punctual and professional, as are his subcontractors. Vendor and product knowledge is extensive to help with everything from high end design to more budget friendly projects. Our project involved converting our formal dining room to a cozy kitchen/family room space. To go from a Georgian Colonial style to a Transitional open concept, we painted the existing “90’s- era cherry cabinets, a soft grey. Karl matched the new custom cabinets & refinished the oak floors to espresso grey to make the room flow seamlessly. The result is exactly what we envisioned & more! In my opinion there are a lot of designers who can give you an incredible concept, but it’s the execution & hands-on stuff that really makes a difference. Karl had an excellent rapport with all of the vendors he hired & kept everyone on schedule by giving excellent directions & oversight, while keeping us in the loop at all times.

Karl Holterman is truly a 5 star designer and builder..Karl designed a new addition to our home which consists of large family room, bedroom suite, master bath , huge closet.. my husband has special needs which Karl had to incorporate. He also updated the entire house exterior and kitchen. To Karl everything has to make sense..design, function, and practicality..He is BRILLIANT

We met with Karl initially to discuss a kitchen and living room remodel. He was extremely easy to talk to, respectful, and listened very carefully to what we wanted to do. We have a disabled child who uses a wheelchair so the remodel had to quietly encompass many disabled access features. Karl made many preliminary sketches which he fine-tuned after our many discussions. We were very impressed with him and he was the reason we engaged the company he worked for to do our remodel. Our remodel ended up including 2/3 of our entire house (which did not include the bedrooms and bathrooms). Karl was fully engaged and committed to our project, quickly addressed any concerns or issues we had, and worked diligently to make sure the project accomplished what we wanted. He was always available to talk to us in person or by phone at any time. The remodel project exceeded our expectations and provided us with a wonderful warm and gorgeous home that we and our children enjoy every day. A year after our first remodel project ended, we engaged Karl on a second remodel project for our kids' bathroom and our study and again, the project proceeded smoothly, much like the first one and the results were stunning! Both remodeling projects began and ended on schedule. Karl is great at details and we left many details to him, including lighting, flooring, cabinet designs, which turned out great. We love his sense of humor and really enjoyed working with him on both remodeling projects. He captured in our remodeling projects the look and feel we wanted in our home. We are planning on remodeling our master bathroom in the future and would not hesitate to engage Karl on this project as well. We would highly recommend him for any remodeling projects, big or small.
