We moved here 2 years ago & bought a house. We loved the neighborhood but the needed major updates! We had heard amazing reviews about the Kastler Construction team from my husband’s colleagues. After meeting with Rick & Paul, we felt like they understood our vision, even had more great ideas to kick it up a notch!! They created an amazing open concept kitchen & living room, developed a master suite by adding a new bathroom & closet to an existing bedroom, put down all new wood flooring & even made a dog shower for our pups in the mud room. The transformation of this space was outstanding & getting to live in it everyday is such a joy. Thank you so much to Rick, Paul, Annette, Chad, Hannah & Steve for being so great to work with.

What I originally wanted was just some new caulk and a new shower surround...what we ended up with was a masterpiece - a complete primary suite renovation, including a huge walk-in closet! What I call my 'little piece of heaven'. Ahhh.... Both the Kastler team and their subcontractors worked very hard. Excellent communication, professional, reliable, and dependable. They created an incredible space for us - one that we could have never imagined without all their hard work and dedication to making everything perfect! They amazed the socks off of us! Rick Kastler was such a joy to work with; Paul was always so kind & sweet; Annette (contractor/client liaison) was fabulous - she provided constant communication and kept an up-to-date detailed work list (she deserves a long, tall, cold 'adult beverage'); Kathleen was so patient in creating & tweaking our design for us. I could go on & on & on....! We were so blessed to have been able to work with the Kastler crew and their subcontractors, who were all equally phenomenal. Thank you --- we are absolutely delighted with the outcome!

I used Kastler Construction to convert a screened in porch into a year round room. The Kastler Team was very responsive, attentive to details, finished the project on time (even with changes we requested that weren't in the original scope), and I am very happy with the high quality end result.

Kassler is top notch. They are easily one of the best contractors that I've worked with. They have worked on 2 units in the condo building I work for. Our building has numerous rules (even before new protocols put in place due to Covid 19), which they and all their contractors always followed without complaint. Their contractors and sub contractors were always pleasant and professional. I never had to worry about damages being done to the walls and floor in our hallways. Beth and Annette in the office always kept me informed when different trades or deliveries would be coming. The work they did in both units is fantastic. I only wish all contractors were this pleasant to work with. Highly recommend.

It started as a kitchen renovation and ended as the entire first floor. We had worked with Rick twice before so we knew the excellent workmanship of his crew. That was our basis for choosing Kastler Construction. The kitchen designers were wonderful to work with and found creative solutions to the problems we encountered throughout the process. Rick kept us on budget! We are thrilled with the beautiful results and would enthusiastically recommend Rick and his team.

Rick, Paul, and the entire Kastler crew are the best in the business. They were incredibly responsive, creative problem solvers and maintained a keen attention to detail and craftsmanship. The subcontractors they work with are highly knowledgable and efficient--a huge plus in a historic home. After having a terrible experience with another contractor on a different project, these guys were a godsend for the massive whole-house renovation we hired them for. We'll never use anyone else.

Kastler Construction created a beautiful design for finishing our basement and it turned out great. We ended up also putting a large island with a built in table in the kitchen, which completely transformed the look of the room. Additionally, we had them upgrade the shower, put in canned lights, and paint the first floor. I enjoyed working with team who answered my endless questions and concerns. I had a fun time working with Rick. One of their partners was not good at communicating change request costs but Kastler worked with us to resolve those changes. Since they do good work and are in high demand, the project took a little longer than anticipated.

Early 2018 we engaged Kastler Construction to renovate major elements of our 20-year-old house. They replaced 80% of our windows, rebuilt our deck, added and refinished wood floors, rebuilt the staircase and completely transitioned a traditional looking home to a fresh modern motif. They did everything from heavy reconstruction to creatively designing a new look, selecting a color palette, choosing furnishings, and placing the new furniture in our home. This is our second project with Kastler, in 2013 they updated our kitchen and baths. Kastler did an amazing job both times! The quality of work as well as their employees and contractors are impeccable! They are trustworthy, respectful, creative, attentive to detail, and very pleasant to work with. We highly recommend them for home renovation.

We have worked with a lot of construction companies over the years and this one is by far the best. With Rick, you get both a contractor and a designer. His carpentry crew lead by Chad is outstanding. Their subcontractors are also top notch. They finished early and stayed on budget. We are very pleased with our gorgeous kitchen.

Wow. Just wow. After searching for a while for the "right" construction company, a friend referred us to Rick Kastler. From the start we had a feeling that we were in great hands, and that proved to be true. A "simple" kitchen remodel became an overhaul of our first floor, plus upgrades to our front porch, exterior lighting, and our backyard landscaping... the expansion in scope was of our choosing based on the confidence that we gained in Rick and his team. We are thrilled with the results, and look forward to working again with Rick when we tackle our 2nd floor renovation next year!

Rick Kastler did a very amazing job on our house renovation. His team was very professional and through in their work. Very organized in their way of work. The office staff was also very accommodative and polite. we are very happy with our new kitchen. I recommend them very highly.
