Kimberly Tomas Designs

Kimberly has been nothing but a pleasure to work with! We decided to remodel our kitchen and found our way to her through a contractor we didn't even wind up employing. She came up with several plans for our space and went through the pros and cons of each one. We then worked together to build on that idea. We ended up with something that feels spectacular. We had A LOT go on in our personal life that pushed things back quite a bit. Kimberly was extremely patient, always made herself available and dealt with our crazy with an incredible amount of grace. We used her design to get competitive bids for a contractor and cabinet line. If you are on the fence about employing a designer because so many kitchen/bath/box stores offer design services--please know that Kimberly's service is unmatched by these places. We were able to do our homework and make informed decisions as consumers and get apples-apples comparisons on everything. Every designer/contractor that reviewed her design was impressed with how she maximized our space in terms of function and updating. I'm thankful we found her and will definitely call her for our future projects (if she's willing to deal with our crazy again!).

Kimberly is the best!!!! We retained Kimberly to be the decorator when we moved from our home of 33 years to a condominium. We had seen the work she had done for friends of ours, and it was beautiful. We loved working with her and our home turned out beautifully also. She is friendly, smart, creative, practical, reasonable and very easy to work with. Her knowledge of style, colors, fabrics and accessories is tremendous, as is her ability to put things together, both regarding new purchases that are necessary and repurposing existing furniture and accessories that we already had. She also worked very well with our contractor, which made our life, and move, much easier. We can not recommend Kimberly highly enough!!!

Kimberly is a joy to work with! She listens well and collaboratively we determine next steps, timelines, and budgets. She is willing to handle every detail as well as offer more economical suggestions. Kimberly attentively offers her expertise in not only smaller projects such as room design, decor and paint colors, she is also able to look at a space and envision what it could be. I look forward to my larger project of redesigning my kitchen and porch!

Ms. Tomas has been great to work with. She has redecorated many of our rooms - including the kids bathroom, powder room, master bathroom, family room, and basement. She has also designed and remodeled our kitchen at our lakehouse. We have always been happy with her and can't wait for her input on future projects.

It was recently our pleasure to work with Kimberly Tomas Designs from the very beginning thru final completion of our “start from scratch” new custom home. At first she was a big help recommending coordinating exterior roofing, paint, brick, roof, and stone colors and selections. Then we worked closely together on plumbing fixtures, countertops, flooring, light fixtures, door hardware and interior paint colors. Using her contacts we obtained brand-name furniture at discounted pricing not available to the public. She also did custom window treatment designs for us and we used her connections for fabricating and installing the final products. She particularly impressed us with detailed finish electrical plans, cabinet plans and 3D views, trim/molding drawings, ceramic tile designs and stone fireplace details. There are so many details with a new home….getting everything to “flow” was no small task. We found Kimberly very easy to work with, very good at listening to us and communicating with us.
