This is the 2nd time we used SOS- Ron is on time, honest & gets the job done as agreed. He shares many ideas & allows you the customer to chose what is best for your budget. He is also a team player- worked closely we are cabinet person who built entertainment unit, collaborating on how best & where best to put equipment. I highly suggest you use SOS!

My boyfriend had partially set up my new tv system in my house and then we broke up. I called Ron Shaby of SOS to see if he could figure out what had been done and how to fix it. The system in place was complicated and definitely not user friendly. Ron came to my house looked at the whole system, said he would have to undo what had already been done, but that he could fix it so it was super easy. And he did just that. The new remote he programmed is very easy and comprehensive. Ron was professional, thorough, respectful of my budget (although it did cost way more than I thought it would) and reliable. He did a great job, I highly recommend him.

S.O.S Sound Services was very knowledgeable and provided specific recommendations for our needs. They provided quotes for materials, labor and how much time they anticipated the project to take so we knew exactly what we could expect. They worked extra on the first day to make sure the project would be completed in the time they committed to. They were professional and put down drop cloths so the floor would be protected. They kept me posted on their progress and made sure everything was working to our standards before leaving the property. They explained in the end what they did and how to work the new system so we could make a smooth transition to this system on the next day of operations.

Ron is a complete professional who pulled off a job I wasn't sure would be possible: installing a projector, screen and surround sound in the living room of a condo without the usual ease of running wires beneath the floor or through an attic. Ron came by to give me a detailed assessment of how the job could be done and left me with a realistic estimate. When I decided to move forward, he worked with me to determine what equipment would be needed and allowed me to purchase much of it on my own. He came out for the installation and took care of everything while I was at work. By the time I returned home, my living room was transformed. Ron had wired everything, discreetly run the cabling along my floor and ceiling trim, calibrated the speakers and had everything ready to go. And most importantly, when I ran into a couple of minor issues with the cabling a few days later, he came back at no charge to get everything squared away. I had looked into other providers, but none offered the flexibility and full service that Ron did. I'm so glad I chose him for the installation. You'd do well to do the same!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ron Shaby on the fairly complicated installation of a new TV for my client. I had designed a custom entertainment center, and Ron had to work carefully in a tight space to install all of the media equipment, route wires, hide cords - and do it all without marring the specialty finish on the new cabinet! But, even before installing, Ron made an initial trip to the client's home to identify what would be needed for the project, and while there, he explained that a sound bar mounted below the TV would be ideal for sound clarity. Apparently, the built-in speakers on flat-screen TVs are not that great. She agreed, and I have to say, after hearing the sound, it felt like we were in a movie theater with surround sound. He really knows his stuff! I was amazed at how quickly he worked, and while my client and I were reviewing fabrics in another room, it seemed that in almost no time, Ron came to tell us the installation was complete. He gave us a tutorial, demonstrating how the different remotes worked and teaching us even how to get downloaded music to play through the new speaker. His professionalism, knowledge and customer service are impeccable, and I look forward to working with him on future projects!
