Madison Nicole Design

Our family moved to Santa Barbara in October 2020. We moved into a home that had been vacant over eight years. The home is in a beautiful location, but was last updated in the early 80s. Everything in the house was outdated, and the layout did not work well for our four family. After reading some favorable reviews online, we reached out to Madison Nicole Design in November 2020. We met with Madison, and one thing that impressed us was that she listened to what we were looking for. We were looking for a kitchen, living room and master bath remodel - about 60% of the living space in our home. My wife and I famously do not have the same design tastes and rarely even agree on paint colors, let alone all the choices necessary for a major remodel. Madison and the team came up with several fantastic options for our remodel. We would have been happy with any of her design options. Madison helped us to navigate the various steps in the remodeling process, including identifying an architect and structural engineer to help us with the Santa Barbara permitting process. After the lengthy permitting process, we used a general contractor (GC) recommended by Madison. We were pleased with the work performed by the GC, Marzullo Construction. One big thing we appreciated about Madison and the team is that she kept many potential headaches at arm's length. We know there were supply chain struggles, and materials took a long time to source. Madison coordinated directly with the GC to handle all material issues. We were incredibly appreciative that we didn't have to coordinate and source everything related to our remodel. Madison and the team demonstrated strong project management skills and kept our stress level low throughout the process. The remodel was completed in January. We are delighted customers and have received countless compliments from family, friends, and neighbors. We recommend Madison Nicole Design to anyone looking for interior design work - she and the team are fantastic partners.

Madison and her team were great. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and friendly. Madison was prompt to answer emails, quick to address questions, and had great recommendations! She listened to our needs and provided a design to address them. The room is bright and beautiful! There is finally enough seating for our whole family and the space still feels open and welcoming. Loved working with Madison, you can tell she loves what she does - designing . She listened to our needs and wants and brought to life our vision, was able to turn our new purchase (with a weird layout) into inviting , cohesive living space. We updated the home with new flooring throughout, new furniture, all new lighting fixtures- that look fantastic and were something we wouldn’t of imagined but, that’s why a designer is invaluable. We purchased a home in Ventura, and renovated the interior living spaces: tearing up all the carpet, tile and wood floors, removing wallpaper, and gutting the kitchen and master bathroom. So what now. HELP! We needed someone to collaborate with us and direct us on counter tops, wall colors, flooring, etc. That is when we found Madison through Houzz. It was a great decision. She was wonderful to work with. She took the time to get to know our life style and out tastes in colors and styles. She brought us to paint, tile, carpet and stone places so we could see how she was matching items to our tastes. In the end Madison made my wife and me very happy with our home, and that we chose her. We would diffidently recommend her. Thank you Madison.

Madison is a truly incredible and talented designer plus she absolute a JOY to work with. Not only did she design a beautiful house for our organization, Delta Gamma Sorority, but she kept us calm and at ease through it all. We were working with over 3,500 sqft with many obstacles and she came up with solutions for all of it. Madison has a fresh, light and bight eye. Every single suggestion was always spot on to our vision even when we didn't know it. She was always open to our ideas and was able to accommodate varying opinions within our group with grace. From furniture to fixtures to lighting to paint color, she beautifully brought the entire house together to one cohesive look. She kept us on budget and was fully aware of our needs. If you are considering hiring a designer do not hesitate to hire Madison. I couldn't sing her praises enough!! I reached out to Madison based on the reviews I had seen on Houzz, as well as the overall feel of her website. We were looking for someone who could give our room a fresh, light and beautiful feel and still be functional for our young family. We had a decent idea of what we wanted, but knew we needed someone knowledgeable who could bring in a great perspective and insight. Right from the beginning we truly liked her - a positive approach and professionalism is always a good sign when you're thinking of working with someone. It's immediately apparent that she has a real passion for decorating and her job! Madison delivered on what we were looking for - from renderings of what the finished product would look like, what furniture could fit and should be considered, to those small details you need answers to in a hurry to make sure the project doesn't lose momentum. Additionally, she was very attentive and open to collaborating with us. We didn't want a space that felt too 'HGTV', and instead reflected our tastes and flowed with the rest of the house. She understood that and helped us update our space with our family's needs in mind. The end product is more than we could have hoped for, and we have Madison to thank you that. Highly recommend!

My wife and I moved into our very first home last year after years of apartment living. As thrilled as we were with this change, there was also now lots of empty space to fill! Thankfully, Madison was there to make our new home look beautiful. She was very precise in understanding the space she was working with, as well as engaged us in friendly conversation to gather information regarding our likes and dislikes. She was also very mindful of our budget and ultimately presented us with a few great ideas that she had put together, which we absolutely loved! Working to transform a work space into a boutique massage studio Madison Nicole Design helped us figure out what look we are going for and how to make the most of the space. She was able to show/give me vision of all the potential it has that I wouldn't have been able to see without her. She has so many great ideas that I couldn't have come up with on my own. If you're anything like me (know what you like but don't really know how to get it to look polished, finished, etc). You really get to see first hand the love for design and the ability to provide an excellent product. I seriously couldn't recommend Madison Nicole Design enough!

We hired Madison Nicole Design to do the interior design our new home in Santa Barbara. She did a wonderful job! Everything from the tile, plumbing fixtures, wall color, furniture, rugs to the filling all the built-in shelves with fun and creative accessories! She was very sensitive to our budget and the end result is amazing. Every time we have guests over the comment how beautiful our home is!
