Mally Skok Design is an interior design firm specializing in private residences and small commercial projects. We provide a full range of services to help you take your residence or commercial property from raw construction to a completely finished state. Based in the town of Lincoln (west of Boston), the firm was started in 1998 by Mally Skok, whose design flair was acquired over many years living in London, Boston and South Africa. On this site you will find photographs of recently completed projects, as well as details of our services. Mally Skok’s decorating style is to layer the old with the new, and add the unexpected. She likes to create rooms that are fresh and comfortable. She feels it is important that a room is visually pleasing but still inviting and never pretentious. Appropriate is one of her key words in decorating. Adding accessories and works of art is essential in making a room feel friendly and lived in.

Mally Skok takes it up a notch in other words,,,,,adds a fab design twist to tradition elements. I love the way she mixes old with new or high quantity fabrics with furniture from a second hand market. And even works with pieces that I own. Her South African roots gives her a style of traditional elements with a pop of color or textures. Mally's decorating is cool, casual and fun! I have had the pleasure of working with Mally for over ten years. In that time we have beautifully transformed all rooms in our homes, kitchen, living room, dining room, butler's pantry, sun porch, family room, bedrooms, into wonderful, livable spaces. Working with Mally is like having coffee with a special friend. Her vibrant, warm personality never fails to engage my intellect and imagination. I feel that the driving force behind Mally's creative energy is that she is passionate about what she does. She loves design! With her broad knowledge and can do attitude, no project is too big or too small. I appreciate that she strives to understand my family's narrative and how it reflects in the integrity of the overall design of our homes. Mally is always ready for a design adventure and I have found each and every journey to be fun, inspiring and gratifying.

Mally has been my decorator on two homes and countless homes of my family members. Without a doubt her ability to make a room extraordinary yet so comfortable and timeless is exceptional and to my eyes one of the best. Her knowledge and use of color and fabric is beyond compare and so in tune with her client's desires. She has decorated rooms from scratch to finding just the perfect prints, paint color and accessories, she can do it all. Also, the ability to pull it all together in the most timely way for such multi-faceted projects is so satisfying and unusual in this industry. I would recommend her to anybody and have many times.
