As soon as we met Brandon, we knew Mastercraft was for us. Our home is beautiful and well-built. It was built according to plans drawn by an architect friend, and any necessary alterations were made on-site without problem. We were able to make positive changes along the way. Early on, a major problem in the form of a giant burn pile buried on our property surfaced and Mastercraft had all the equipment and know how to deal with this and quickly revise the plans to add on a basement where there was going to be a concrete slab. Our framing crew was amazing; no matter when we showed up (from 2 hours away), they had swept up and kept the worksite clean. We were truly impressed with each contractor Brandon hired: the electrician, the plumber, tile, flooring, masons, you name it, they did a great job. Some of them who did the outside work could have kept our property neater while they worked, and the painters had to redo a couple of things, but in the end we have a wonderfully built house that everyone who comes in admires. Mastercraft works with you to do a turn-key house, or allows you to purchase your own materials as we did with our light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, tile, etc. Aside from the professional work, they make you feel like family. We still like to stop in and visit. I HIGHLY recommend them.

We wanted a cabin on the River and worked to get the best for every dollar spent. Great builder, we built a cabin that looks from outside like log home, and inside is all TG pine and hardwood floors through. Master Craft was hired when our original builder went over budget by 40% before even being close to finishing. Master Craft finished the build in less than two months when we receive our Certificate of Occupancy with no issues, and was a little under budget. The whole process redeemed our faith in the building industry of our mountain community of Ashe County.

Mastercraft built our dream cabin! Every detail was of the highest quality. The architectural details they added on their own went beyond our expectations. The trim around the light fixtures, the beautiful structure of the canopy over the deck, and the beautiful tile work. Brandon Dillard, the owner is extremely helpful and he has assembled a wonderful crew. The house was built on a timely basis and they kept us well informed. When anything was not to our liking, they would rebuild it to our satisfaction. For example, when we saw the instillation of our fireplace we wanted it larger. They reordered a different fireplace that was perfect. We were also pleased with how they have come back to make any adjustments to the house over the las few months. We contracted with this company too build us a stick home with log siding and are about 90% completed. We are long distant builders and have been provided with timely information and direction to complete this home to our specifications. We have been very happy with the price and all the contractors that he uses. We can't wait for the finished product!
