We are thrilled with our living room and kitchen remodel! Stacie is such a talented designer! She listened to our needs and came up with fabulous solutions. Her contractors are professional and timely. Our house finally feels like it’s ours!!!!

We could not be happier with how our kitchen/family room renovation was executed by Stacie and her team. Stacie brought us many great design ideas and was able to adapt them to our own personal test. She shared her knowledge and helped us to see some things we never considered. The job was very efficiently managed by Stacie and she supervised the project from design to completion. Her team worked very well together. Our project was completed on schedule and there was excellent communication throughout the process, with no surprises or delays. We love our new updated space.

Stacie was,professional, whitty and extremely knowledgeable. I might even say she is a task master to both the contractors she works with and her clients. Our project got off track and in a blink of an eye, Stacie had everything back on track. The promised deadline was accomplished. When our choices of items or colors didn’t exactly match, she would reign us in and in the end we always went with Stacie’s design sense! It was a pleasure to work with Metropolitan Design! We’ll do it again in the future.

My wife and I have worked with Stacie for over 8+ years and I find Stacie to be one of the most knowledgeable, creative and organized professionals I have worked with (and I am in the professional service industry). Stacie has the unique ability to "see" what a kitchen or room can be, present the idea and organize project in a seamless manner. MDC did our major kitchen/living room remodel in 2017 and it came out simply spectacular. She is very organized and detail oriented. Stacie outstanding project management and communication skills to keep all contractors on task ton time and the people she engages are extremely professional, of the highest quality workmanship and simply wonderful to work with in every respect. We continue to work with Stacy on a new project and she is bringing the same creative, knowledgeable design ideas to this new project. Stacie is truly a consummate professional who knows her craft and executes projects timely.

Let me begin by saying Stacie is awesome and so talented. She redesigned our family room fireplace and bookcases for a more contemporary look. Highly recommend. Stacie helped us design a beautiful and functional master bath. She managed every step of the renovation closely. Her team of professionals were some of the best we've ever encountered. Everyone was on time and courteous. And each individual team member clearly took pride in their craft. We recently bought a new home and one of the reasons we fell in love with our home was the decorating of the prior owner. We were able to find out that Stacie was responsible for their entire decorating scheme throughout the house, so we hired Stacie to do the same for us. She transformed our formal living room using the same color scheme, but starting from scratch with the furniture. She has a special gift of putting colors and styles together that I would not have dreamed of, but I love everything she shows us! Would definitely recommend her.

After my wife passed, I realized fairly quickly that I was going to have to redo my master bedroom. Like most cheap finance guys, I set out to do it myself, partly because I needed a project to help me move forward. Purchasing the furniture came easy for me as I am a fairly traditional soul and there were lots of options to choose from. Once the furniture was delivered, I tried to talk myself into thinking that it provided the newness that I was looking for, only to conclude that it was just new stuff in the same old surroundings. By this time, my creative side was spent, and I quickly called on my neighbor, Stacie Salisbury, with Metropolitan Design Studio. Stacie and I had worked together on a home office renovation years back and I knew that she would help me find that added spark I was seeking. Stacie immediately came over, right after the furniture was delivered in fact, and immediately went to work, and helped me see what wasn’t working. The rug was wrong, one of the pieces I had purchased, a distressed piece, was going to require the right surroundings to work, and on and on and on. Not to mention that the space was very dated. Stacie worked her magic! She gave me lots of choices, “stories” she called them, went with me to choose another rug, literally held my hand through the rest of the process. She brought a sense of newness/freshness to the room while complimenting the rest of the home. The end result is that I now have an updated, yet traditional, space to come home to at night, one that I find relaxing and comforting. P.S. While we were working on the bedroom transformation, Stacie also helped to transform my downstairs powder room, which was a dated “builders floral” design, into a sleek, masculine space which also now compliments the rest of the downstairs.

I have worked with Stacie on several projects and every time it has been a pleasure to work with her. She has great taste; I love her style. I look forward to more opportunities to work with her.
