Mark helped us with an out-of-state job and couldn't have been easier to work with. We were turning a 125 year old Victorian house in Savannah, GA into a soft contemporary home. Mark was excellent in helping us create a warm, modern home while embracing the historical aspect of the architecture to give us a beautiful home that fits our casual lifestyle. We worked very well together and I appreciated the give and take between his ideas and our own.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity of working with, and working for, several interior designers. You come across many different styles and tastes. MNI is by every definition modern. This elusive mix makes for a polished and unique experience. But of all the qualities that make him a professional, I’ve continually been impressed by one in particular. Mark doesn’t hold himself with the swagger of a genius. He doesn’t presume to know a secret recipe for great design. He achieves high-end interiors on the clock. The amount of time and focus he gives projects always stuns me. Design challenges bounce around in his head regardless of where he is or the time. And he seems to enjoy it. Mark is creative, professional and a pleasure to work with. He brilliantly furnished our home to be in harmony with its modern architecture. We have been working with Mark Nichols for over a year on our home in Palm Springs, It was new construction, and he worked with us and the builder on all of our flooring, tile, cabinets, lighting, stone, and all the hard services,.. He has an amazing talent and a great knowledge of Eco Design. As we speak our installation of our bedrooms, baths, media and office space.. we are new to the Desert as we are true East Coast people and he as been a great mentor, teacher and a guide to introduce us to amazing new styles. I hired Mark first for a bathroom renovation, which he designed beautifully and oversaw the construction for and which led me to hire him again for a basic interior face-lift of my entire home. No construction this time, but many rooms where existing pieces were re-upholstered or new pieces bought. He stayed completely within my budget, delivered the job precisely when promised and gave me, as I told him, the home I always wanted to live in. His taste, business acumen and personality are all wonderful gifts he possesses in equal measure.
