Nailed It Remodeling

Justin and Mia were a great team for our bath remodel—love the finished product! I had an very dated bath that needed some updates. I had some ideas and Mia helped bring them to life! Justin and his team were very professional and did exactly what we agreed upon. The Nailed It crew was easy to work with and fun to have around for a few days!

I would recommend Nailed It! to anyone who’s serious about beautiful, functional living spaces. I say this after entrusting them with the complete remodel of my entire historic home. Mia brings a wonderful design eye to the process. But that’s not the end of the story. Unlike many creative people, she’s also willing to listen and alter her designs based on your feedback. The process was truly rewarding. Fun, you might even say. Justin is a true craftsman—the perfect person to implement Mia’s vision. He takes pride in doing things the right way. On every remodeling job, there will be setbacks and challenges. Every responsible homeowner knows that. But here’s the thing: Nailed It! will make right. My standards are high, and I typically have more of an eye for detail than the vendors I hire. Simply put, I’m a fussy perfectionist. But Nailed It! made me happy. And that’s saying a lot.

I wish that I could provide a more favorable review. Justin and Mia certainly seem very nice, but we just had more issues than I could have ever imagined with our small bathroom project. The project was scheduled to take 2 weeks, and begin in early February. While it did start on time (early in fact), today is June 3rd, and the project JUST completed. I wish that the only issue that we had was the time to completion. To list just some of the problems we encountered: 1. Our biggest reason for getting the bathroom redone was the horrible/bumpy drywall. I asked for this to either be replaced or made to look like new. Neither of those happened, even after endless phone calls/visits to point out deficiencies. 2. Nearly everything required a tune-up from the initial installation. The sink leaked below into the vanity cabinet, the shower door did not close all of the way, the shower handle was not installed tight enough against the wall, the paint was VERY sloppy, the shower glass was ordered the incorrect size, the list never ends. The paint job was so incredibly sloppy that you could even see several strands of hair painted to the door frames, that's how little attention to detail was given. 3. Several cigarette butts were found in our driveway throughout the course of the project. 4. The shower drain itself was not properly installed, causing water to rain downstairs into our living room through the drywall ceiling. They had to cut out a large hole in the ceiling, air it out, then redo the ceiling. Water was also running down our walls, and we had to attach towels to the wall to prevent the water from running into an outlet. Paint was removed from the wall in this process, and that was never address (and still isn't). I don't want to beat a dead horse here, it's pretty clear we didn't have a great experience. I think we were certainly the exception, since we're the only negative review so far. I truly wanted to love this project, and had plans to do a kitchen remodel with this company if things all went well. I really do think they are nice people, but I definitely didn't feel like my project mattered to them. Even when we had water raining into our living room on Saturday, there was zero urgency to fix it. Justin didn't come until Monday, and said he'd be there "first thing in the morning", so my wife took off time from work to be there. He showed up at 11:30, and my wife ended up having to take almost the whole day off. To top it off, he didn't even fix the problem that day. He didn't come back until Tuesday to actually fix it, even though the issue ended up being what he thought it was when we spoke on Saturday. I hope this review can at least provide some feedback to Nailed It, and hopefully future customers will have a better experience.

Mia, Justin and Crew remodeled our sons bedroom. They were professional, fast and did a wonderful job. Minimum mess and fuss, and pricing was fair with no big surprises. We hope to use them again this year for our family room.

Nailed It Remodeling did a fantastic job with remodeling my bathrooms. Even with the tile being placed on backorder they came back out in a timely manner to finish the job. Dugan and Kevin were friendly, courteous and great to work with throughout the entire project. The end result was better than I could have imagined. I would definitely recommend Justin and his team.

I hired Justin owner and installer of "Nailed It" to install a black and white tile floor in the loft of my art studio. It looks amazing!!!! He started the job and completed it within the time frame he had given me. The crew cleaned up the space when completed and made sure the floor was sparkling clean!! It's beautiful!! I would highly recommend this company...they are very professional and easy to work with!
