This was my first experience with a designer and it was one of the best decisions we made while building our home! When my husband and I met with Paul the first time he made a comment that really stuck with me…He said it was his job to stretch us outside our comfort zone. And after our home was complete I said…It was everything I ever wanted, I just didn’t know it!! Paul's creativity is off the charts!! He is thoughtful about every decision and his communication is second to none. Throughout the process, my trust in Paul grew exponentially! By the time, we were working on our lower level, the ball was in his court!! Our vision was to create a timeless lake house for our children and grandchildren to experience for many years to come. The time and energy we saved by having Paul is priceless! Each time we enter our HOM, we find another detail we hadn’t quite noticed. More importantly a feeling of calm comes over us. Isn’t that what coming home should be!?!? I could go on and on, but you will just have to experience it for yourself:)

Paul is as professional as they come. He was my best hire on my commercial project and made the end result better than it would have been otherwise. He was involved, and left no stone unturned looking for the best "fit" for my project. He worked extensively with me to give me choices that I was comfortable with and push just the right amount when he needed too during the decision making process on what materials and finishes went into the building. He has a network of experienced and quality subcontractors to rely on for certain aspects of the project. (if necessary)

We have loved working with Paul Kairis from HOM. He is professional, creative, responsive and flexible. Paul has been working with us on designing our home for more than 10 years. We first contacted him through a friend’s referral shortly after we moved into our home in CT. Our goal was to have Paul help us create a comfortable, warm and beautiful environment for our family (3 daughters and 1 dog). Not only did Paul meet our objectives, but he a went above and beyond to create many stylish, comfortable, special and functional living spaces in our home. Paul initially spent his time getting to know us and took his time working with us to get a sense of whom we were and what we were looking for in terms of design. He provided us with a well thought out design plan that covered everything including wall colors, rugs, furniture as well as art work. He provided us with choices, yet did not overwhelm us. Paul took into account our budget and was flexible. We completed the design of our kitchen, dining room, living room, family room and master bedroom during our initial phase. Our project was completed and we were so happy. From our initial design, we moved onto several more projects including our daughters’ bedrooms, an outdoor patio, and currently, re-creating a large living room. Paul has an amazing sense of style and easily exceeded our expectations for designing both interior and exterior of our home. He is responsive, attentive, patient and so much fun to work with. Each time we work with Paul, he manages to transform our space and we are always so pleased upon completion. We highly recommend Paul and HOM.

Hom Personal Interiors is an outstanding Interior Design service which we have hired for two projects. Because of our satisfaction on the first project (a city brownstone) we hired Hom to help us design for a brand new custom built home in Greenwich, CT. The project included the sourcing and selection of items attached to the home (bathtubs, toilets, sinks, countertops, wall and floor tile, faucets, bathroom and kitchen hardware, interior and exterior lighting, interior and exterior paint colors, etc...) as well as interior design of the rooms (rugs, furniture, artwork, window treatments, accessories, etc...) Paul and Gerri of Hom are always exceedingly fun to work with and bring a wealth of creativity, experience and skill to the project. They did a wonderful job of incorporating some of the pieces from our old home into our new home while still moving the design in a more modern direction. One of the best things about working with Hom is how efficiently and quickly they work. We trusted Paul and Gerri's ability from the first project and they were able to move the selection process along very quickly while also staying within our budget. Unlike most newly built homes our home was fully decorated and truly felt like a HOM the minute we walked in the door. Truly amazing!

Paul Karis met every expectation we had in our home remodel. We filled out an extensive questionnaire which gave Paul insights into our likes and preferences, which he then incorporated into his design recommendations. Paul brought together all of our rooms so they transitioned easily from one to the next. He made the entire process fun and exciting and we could not be more pleased with the final product. We would highly recommend Paul and his work.

Paul and everyone at HOM Personal Interiors have been a pleasure to work with. They made our decorating projects easy and fun and kept things on a good budget. Hom Interiors has become our go to business for all of our personal and business decorating needs. Paul's vision and attention to detail set him apart from other decorators. He listens, takes in the environment and the individual requirements and designs a space that is completely tailored to your needs and your style. We get so many complements on our decor! He's able to mold to any style too. We have classic country French in one place and a sleek modern beachside look in another and he's pulled each one off spectacularly. Paul's vision for our remodel and update of the condo met our expectations far and beyond. Even now after couple of years of living in the environment we are still very happy with all the choices. Paul is a color genius !!!!

Paul at HOM was such a pleasure to work with. We updated the feature wall in our living room and not a detail was left to chance. The paint color on shelves, on walls behind shelves to the fireplace surround stone selection were all thought out and perfect. His eye for appreciating the final "effect" you are striving for is so comforting along the path to the final product. We are now working with Paul and HOM on or master bath remodel. We are now down to studs and cannot wait to see where Paul takes us on this adventure!
