Perspective Renovations

I gave them a 9k deposit in April 2019 based on a known maximum budget. They came in with a nice preliminary design and a budget 25% above my maximum. I ended the contract in May 2019 asking to be refunded for the design, engineering and permit work not done. The owner gave me the run around for a couple of months saying he was too busy with work to respond and stopped responding altogether at the end of July. I learned on Houzz that they are out of business as of November 2019.

Consulted with Perspective Renovations in April . Gave them a $10,000.00 deposit to start the project in August. They ordered a survey on my property . 2 months pass with no contact . I called them only to find out the owners have separated and company has closed . I am out my money and now have to start fresh. I will now only deal with Architects who must follow a code of ethics and keep your money “in trust “.

Excellent service, friendly workers, cleaned up after the job. It took a bit longer than expected but overall am very happy with the expertise!

Dear Steve and Dennis, I have to formally thank you for the work you did at my parents’ home. I don’t know if you recall but my first experience with Perspective Renovation was during the Fall Home Show almost a year ago. Steve you were professional from that first handshake through to our final decision. Every question we had was answered and whenever you were unsure you were sure to follow up with Dennis, the “window expert”. Where my parents’ home, circa 1930, was concerned you were patient, knowledgeable and above all professional throughout it all. We went from pricing out two large windows, on a busy road, to jumping right in and having all the windows replaced. Matt and Robert were meticulous and detail oriented during the installation. We could not have asked for a better crew. When my parents had questions Dennis effectively answered them and ensured my parents’ minds were put at ease. Because of the team’s combined knowledge there is quite literally more light in the house and it’s noticeably quieter. We have worked with many construction and renovation companies over the years and without a doubt you are the first company I will not hesitate to recommend. On behalf of our family, thank you!

My first contact with Perspective Renovations occurred at the January 2019 Home Show where I met Steve tending the Company booth. At that time, I was interested only in replacing my front door. Steve provided a booklet and was very professional in explaining the services that Perspective Renovations provided. He was not pushy to sign me up on the spot for any installations, instead, he suggested that I glance over the booklet. It was because of Steve's professional manner that I decided to call Perspective Renovations for an estimate for not only the front door, but also for five windows. When Craig, and later, Dennis, arrived to do the measurements, they were very professional and arrived when they said they would. Robert and his crew installed the door and windows. They were meticulous in their installations and provided excellent clean up. Robert was also punctual in that when he stated that he would arrive the next morning at a specific time, he was there at that time. Dennis checked in periodically during the installation to ensure that everything was going according to plan. The project was on time (Perspective Renovations satisfied the 120-day Home Energy Audit timeline) and I was charged the price quoted in the original estimate provided by Steve. Prior to the Home Show, I had not heard of Perspective Renovations, but since having dealt with this Company, I strongly recommend them for any renovations that have to be done.

Our three bathrooms were just completed by Perspective Renovations in a seamless, high quality effort by all company members. The process was far superior to earlier renovation work by others and we highly recommend this company. Our initial contact with designer Rebecca was positive as she listened to our priorities, balanced ideas and created great designs in a consultative fashion. Excellent communication and precise sequential scheduling ensured that we were never inconvenienced. Chris, our on-the-scene renovator, was terrific. He was exact in his work timings, precision detail, quality of service and professional standards. Our bathrooms were completed on time, on budget and beyond our expectations.

Perspective Renovations just completed our master bathroom renovations and we absolutely love our new space. Rebecca designed a beautiful space for us. She was so helpful throughout the entire process and answered all our questions (and we had quite a few)! From finding a shower head that was to our liking in the price range we wanted to pay, to advice on lights, colors, etc, Rebecca worked really hard to make sure we were happy with the end product....and we are! Chris completed the work for us and his work was of top quality. Everything came together so nicely! Absolutely love everything!

We highly recommend Perspective Renovations. The service that Colin and Craig, and the renovation project that they and their crew undertook for us, was top quality. The project consisted of an entire re-flooring of the second storey of our house, the replacement of a ceiling in one bedroom, and re-painting the rooms. This necessitated removal of all our furniture and belongings from the second floor for a short period of time. This could have been an onerous task. However, it was all done very smoothly, and we felt no real inconvenience as the work progressed. The crew who did the work were highly proficient and very courteous, and kept us fully apprised of minor details as the renovation proceeded. Never once did we feel any sense of intrusion as they worked in the house. In terms of project administration, from start to finish our meetings with Colin and Craig accommodated our schedules, they consistently gave us excellent advice, particularly in terms of balancing quality of material with reasonable pricing, and the whole project was completed right on schedule (actually a few days before the due date). Equally important, the price tag was most reasonable. In sum, we are very happy with the work that has been done, and the manner in which the project was conducted. We had extensive changes made to an older townhome by Craig and Colin. Walls were moved, flooring changed, a laundry room and fireplace created and complete painting. Their ideas were excellent, budget and timelines as expected and their crew and subtrades were terrific. They were readily available if there were any questions or requests. I highly recommend them. Very easy to work with!

We have recently completed a full renovation of our main floor/kitchen, staircase and second floor hallway with Perspective Renovations. Working closely with Colin and Craig was an absolute pleasure! Their knowledge, professionalism and customer service are second to none. We were guided through the entire process with great efficiency. Any glitches, as few and minor as they were, were dealt with in a timely fashion. The crew, who worked on our project from start to finish, were professional, knowledgeable and in some cases true artists at their craft! Colin and Craig did a great job on our Kitchen and Laundry room renovation. Very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. Their crew and suppliers were also very friendly and professional as well. In the future we are hoping to renovate our basement and we would definitely consider working with them again.
