Dea and Peter created a beautiful setting on the deck in front of my retail store 3 years ago. Fountains were created and pots in vibrant and unusual color schemes of purple, chartreuse were filled with textural plants. We receive compliments daily from customers who are enchanted with the displays.

Needed a fence quickly (in three weeks or less) that would be compatible with non-traditional home -- Peter was onsite the day I called; almost daily thereafter; fence was beautiful and completed within the time limit. His communication was excellent; the design was inventive; the execution was professional. Crew went the extra mile to add additional deterrent (screening) underneath fence to keep dogs from digging under the wood fence. A terrific experience and a lovely result.

Peter and Dea have cared for our landscaping for several years, even before we moved into our home. We trusted that what we needed would be done. They have done regular care and maintenance, improved and expanded the irrigation system, mulched, planted a mini-forest where they removed a huge amount of scotch broom, and planted trees and bushes to improve the look of our yard. They are friendly and accessible and great to work with.

Aurora Florialis provided support, design, installation and follow-up for a complex vegitative screening project that borders a High School and residential zone. The renovation of the area required removal of many dead or dying trees, cleaning up existing evergreens and removal of many invasives. Planting included many native species and a complex temporary irrigation system to help establish. The result is lovely, and looks like the native forest we were looking for. They also provided support with complex city code issues and community outreach. AF provided quality, thoughtful, professional work that they obviously really care about. Would recommend without hesitation.

Creative, Experienced, Reliable Pros With an Eye for the Aesthetic and Fun. Two of the reasons I bought my waterfront home on Eagle Harbor a year ago were to watch the jumbo ferry move back and forth and the breathtaking Asian/English gardens that Dea and Peter designed and installed ten years ago. Shortly after I moved in last Spring, I brought Dea/Peter and crew back in to help me prune, rearrange to get the rather overgrown gardens back to their beautiful bones and to get irrigation, drainage infrastructure working well to support it all. I like to be hands on and to know a garden by each season: Camellia japonica blooming now to December juxtaposed with colorful barks, rich greens of winter moving on into the fragrant first small white starlike blossoms of Sarcococca and early daffodils for Spring. This last Fall, Dea has spent hours with me in my kitchen over tea determining what's possible with Spring bulbs in the Katsura and dogwood gardens and out on the sea side; and, to help me see what's possible with structure and design for a rose garden overlooking the sea in memory of my mother. Not only do Dea and Peter know better what they are doing than most landscape design pros in the Pacific NW, they care and you will just plain love having them around. What's better than that?

Peter and Dea are great to work with. They listen, they work your ideas into a beautiful design. Then they bring their expertise into the design resulting in a product that is a direct reflection of both. No matter what my ideas were, they were never condescending. Our front yard turned out gorgeous! Having had such a positive experience, we are now working with them on another project that requires careful adherence to local ordinances with which they are very knowledgeable.

I recently had Dea install my front garden on my new residence. I constantly get people stopping by gawking and gushing about how beautiful it is...and indeed it is beautiful. Dea and Peter are full of wonderful ideas and can bring a project together like no one else. From the second I contacted them they were responsive and were quick to implement the project.
