Linwood Builders

We worked with Paul Higbee, of Higbee/Linwood Builders in Linwood, NJ to build our new coastal home in Ocean City, NJ. Paul came to us as one of a group of five referred by our architect. After meeting with each, we felt most comfortable with Paul for his personality, style and the fact that he is a third generation builder. What sets Paul and Linwood Builders apart is that they do much of the work themselves rather than subcontracting. The Higbees and their team are true craftsman and carpenters with a fine eye for quality coastal construction. They bring ideas and suggestions for style and materials to the table. They are easy to work with and their family-minded style makes them real, approachable, and down to earth. Not only did they stay on budget despite some requested changes and additions but they kept their commitment of time to construct enabling us not to miss a season at the jersey shore as is often the case with coastal re-builds. As a guest at our house-warming party commented, it is a testament to the satisfaction of the client when the builder and his family are welcomed to the party. We could not have been happier or asked for more in a builder. Paul Higbee, his father Sherman, and brother Tyler and their team aim to please and want nothing more than to build a great home for their client who in turn become friends. Goal Achieved!
