Established in 1980, Phillip Johnson Construction (PJC) has been renovating and rebuilding Center City Philadelphia for almost four decades. In that time, PJC has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the finest architects, designers and craftsman on the East Coast. 37 years in business have allowed our company and crew to develop an expertise in high-end residential construction, along with historical restoration and reconstruction. Phillip Johnson Construction is honored and proud to have worked in many of Center City Philadelphia's finest homes.

Phil and his team converted our apartment into a loft with exposed columns, beams, and brick walls. Their creativity, together with their attention to detail, were beyond any general contractor/home builder we had ever used. They worked closely with other professionals in designing a layout and then executing the plan. We highly recommend PJC!

Phil and his team did a great job fixing a complicated structural issue in a practical and cost effective way in an old brownstone. The team was always prompt, very nice, and cleaned up well each day -- I still have no idea how they were able to effectively contain the dust from a very dusty project.

We've done 4 major construction projects and Phil Johnson was by far the best contractor we've ever used. Excellent attention to detail. Follows through. Completes the job. High level of craftsmanship.
