Porraro Homes has done several projects for us ... renovate a ranch style home, build a new home - LEED Gold certified, and build a new pool house/cottage - LEED Gold certified. Gregory is hands on and on site ensuring every detail exceeded our expectations!

We hired Porraro Homes to renovate our 1900 beach colonial. The renovation included exterior siding, porch, roof and windows as well as expansive interior work including a new kitchen, bathrooms, dining room, family room, bedrooms and attic conversion. As with any renovation on a house this old, we also ran new plumbing and electrical as well as fixed numerous structural issues. Suffice it to say, there was a lot going on, but we could not be more satisfied with the quality of work and professional manner it was completed.

We have had the pleasure of knowing Greg Porraro for over 20 years. He has built two homes for us and most recently, has rebuilt our home at the Jersey shore after it was devastated by Hurricane Sandy in the Fall of 2012. During one of the most stressful times of our lives, within two days of the storm, Greg had a crew of 29 workers attacking our home. There was a massive clean-up effort needed as well as reinforcing badly damaged walls and support columns. Greg put our mind at ease and totally took charge of the project. Within a few short weeks, we had a plan as to how we were going to put our home back together and have it ready for the following summer season. Greg coordinated every aspect of the project and took care of our home as if it were his own. He suggested many improvements to the original structure that will protect us further should another storm come our way. We are very happy to say that we took possession of our home again by the end of May 2013-just 7 short months after it was ripped apart by the storm. It is an absolute pleasure doing business with someone that you can trust 100%. We knew, every step of the way that Greg had our best interest at heart.
