Quinn Morgan Design

Quinn Morgan believes that design needs to be a blend of both beauty and function. Beauty is increased when it's paired with function. The fundamentals of design are indoor / outdoor connection and the importance of light throughout the space. First I ask my clients, "What is working? What do you want more of in your home?" and most importantly, "What do you love and would like to incorporate within your interior design plan?" Then I create custom designs based on cherished pieces and personal desires. Your home is meant to support your happiness and joy and is the place from which you start and end each day. Good design, function, and beauty provide the positive warm environment where we can enjoy our families, friends and personal time. It is the place to completely relax, recharge our energies and engage with each other. Designing spaces came at a very young age, beginning with my friends' rooms and going to estate sales with my aunt, a multifaceted artist who encouraged my interest and talent. With a background in fine art and painting, a BA degree in Art History and Literature from the University of California in Santa Barbara, and a degree in Interior Architecture/Design from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Before graduating, I began working as an interior/architectural designer with my mentor Malcolm Davis at Malcolm Davis Architecture. After 8 years there, I went to work as Senior Interior Designer for Laura Martin Bovard Interiors and Backen, Gillam and Kroger, an Architectural Digest's "Top One Hundred" firm.
