Ray C. Freeman III, Architect

I worked with Ray on my backyard cottage/studio project. He was great to work with. I would highly recommend his work to any one in need of a creative and thoughtful architect.

Ray was the architect for our extensive remodel...really more of a total re-building, as we started with a 1-story house, ripped everything down except for one wall and a little bit of roof, and ended up with a 2 story house. He was great at taking what we expressed verbally as our desires for design and crafting them into visual representations. We had very few specific demands or desires, and we put a lot of faith into Ray's ideas (which worked out great). Our home is well-documented on Ray's website. A couple of years after the fact, now, the house is working out very well, both in terms of form and function. It is visually pleasing to be in the spaces he created, and it is easy to live in.
