We set out and interviewed six custom home builders that would fit our budget for a 3,400 sq ft home in the Hilton Head Island area. After several weeks, we narrowed the list to four companies, large and small to choose from. After extensive research we selected Reminiscent Homes. The workmanship specially the in-house design and framing of the home was exceptional. Interior selections regarding finishes from the team but specially Elaine Creamer is something to proud of. Mr. Richard Creamer is a hands-on contractor using only the most reputable and first rate sub-contractors. Pictures were sent to me almost on a daily basis from beginning to end. The materials that were used were of best quality and the quality and attention to detail was outstanding. We have been in the home for seven months now and we are still receiving high compliments from our neighbors for the design and workmanship. We could not be more pleased with our selection of Reminiscent Homes as our home builder.

We searched high and low for a builder who would build a home for us. We were retiring and downsizing and wanted a 2000 square foot home within a certain budget. Rick delivered over and above anything we could have imagined. The quality and craftmanship of the work is outstanding! We highly recommend Reminiscent Homes.

It has been a pleasure working with Richard Creamer and his team during part of the design process. Reminiscent Homes has done a great job in designing an absolutely beautiful custom contemporary-style home. The process involves meeting with the Reminiscent Design Team to determine your own individual needs, ideas, and wants; then they produce a design and plan to complete your dream home. In my case, I wanted a more modern, contemporary style home, and found that Reminiscent excels in designing this style. Some of the other builders I talked with were just not as well skilled and knowledgable in designing this style home. And while Reminiscent is excellent at designing and building this contemporary style, their portfolio includes beautiful traditional-style homes as well. I did have a chance to go thru a couple of their homes during the construction phase, and was impressed by the clean construction sites, overall designs, and attention to details. You can tell that their standards for quality of construction are high. Richard and his team are there every step of the way to make sure those high standards are met. I can highly recommend Reminiscent Homes without reservations. A very talented designer/builder, and professional all the way.

The Reminiscent team is building a modern home for us in Hampton Lake, Bluffton, SC. They have been creative and innovative from design through construction. Richard Creamer and his team, designed and built our 2264 sq. ft. home in Hampton Lake. Richard orchestrated every phase of the project with our best interest, not his bottom line, being the priority. We found Reminiscent Homes online and called about building a home on a lot we wanted to purchase. Unfortunately, the lot wasn't purchased and hence the home was never built, but not because of Reminiscent. Dealing with them was a real pleasure. Richard is very accessible, helpful, and just a very nice guy. We will be calling them again when the right lot comes along though.

We met with Rick one afternoon & he showed us a house he was building that had similar features. He gave us the floor plan, which we took back home to IL. Over the next month and a half, I communicated via phone and e-mail with Rick, as we tweaked that plan to the point where Larry & I absolutely loved it. I really had fun doing this. I would e-mail a suggestion, and viola; the magical genies (Rick & Alex, his designer) would send me back a revised floor plan in a day or two, usually improving on my suggestion. Looking back, our house barely resembles the one we saw. We were in IL during most of the building process, but had no qualms in putting all our trust in Rick to build us a beautiful house. Our home isn't finished yet, but so far, Rick has come through with flying colors. He keeps adding details that make it better and better. We had purchased a homesite in September 2012 and began the grueling process of interviewing builders to construct our dream home. After talking with approximately eight builders, we had come to a decision to go with one of them when someone suggested we call Rick Creamer of Reminiscent Homes. We decided to give him a try and we are glad we did. We knew right away that this was the man we wanted to build our home. Reminiscent Homes just recently built my 4200 sf home in Bluffton, SC. The home is in the craftsman/low country style and Reminiscent incorporated many details in the home to portray the style of the home we were trying to achieve. They were easy to work with and were on site each and every day of the project until it was finished to everyone's satisfaction. They were on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Reminiscent Homes. Update: It's a year that we are in our new home and we haven't had one major issue with the house. Structurally it is one of the strongest houses I've ever lived in. We use very little heat and air conditioning because it is so well insulated. We will once again give Reminiscent Homes a 5 star rating and would continue to highly recommend them!

I first met Rick at a home show in Hilton Head at the mall. My wife and I had been looking for a builder to build a house for us on a lot we had recently purchased on the intercostal in Spanish Wells. Rick, as you probably know by now has a wonderful personality and is a super nice man. Once we became familiar with Rick and confident of his abilities to build our dream house we were off and running. My wife and I spent most of the build time living at our lake home up North while Rick worked to complete our house. We were concerned that we were not there on a daily basis but the house turned out beautifully. When we arrived to see the completed project Rick was standing in the front door waiting for us and he was just as proud and excited as we were.
