We had the pleasure to have two hours consultation with Sandra. Our goal was to change paint colors. She asked us for a video of current state and over the phone asked about our ideas and future colors. She arrived prepared to the appointment with multiple options to start the consultation, we were able to select two options and lots of ideas to move forward with our project. We can't wait to set up another consultation when we are ready for the next steps. Super profesional, she knows her business.

Kubo staged every detail perfectly, from lighting to doorknobs to color coordination, The house has been turned into a showroom. She is a very cooperative and helpful person. I am so happy she staged our home.

Sandra did a very good job at giving us ideas to finish and decor our house. She oriented us well on colour coordination and style and gave us options on where to find the items we we’re missing. We had an unfinished fireplace and with options she gave us we were able to finish that project successfully.

This is the second time that we worked with Design by Kubo Inc. and the results are again amazing!!. We feel really happy with our new home. We decided to call them again based on our previous experience with them. Sandra Kubo helped us with the staging of our previous house which we sold. We realized that it was the best investment we made to be able sell the property very quickly and at a very good price. After selling the house, we moved to a small condo as our kids had left home. We had to change all the furniture as the items did not fit in the new place and we also wanted to give the new place that extra touch that we got when we had our previous house staged. We had an initial appointment with Sandra and she took a look at the Condo, the floor plans and discuss with us our needs, likes and preferences. She came back at a later date with a project plan. During the second meeting, Sandra took the time to review with us all the details and explained the reasons why it was convenient to follow a process so that all the elements part of the decoration fell in the proper place. It included the area available, lighting, paint, furniture and decorations. We started the project with the paint. We discussed the different options that could help us make the place look bigger and with more light. After that, she suggested the furniture we could get for the different rooms considering our needs. We started then the research part, where we identified what items we like and the stores we can buy them from. She offered some store suggestions where we could look for the items. We went shopping with Sandra a few times to get the furniture and decorations. In some of those stores, she was able to get discounts for us and she also gave us a discounted hourly rate for the services after the staging project. It was a great experience for us as she showed us how we should keep in mind multiple aspects (colour, flow, lighting, size, area available) when selecting each piece of furniture or decoration. We were surprised that when talking about any item with Sandra, it was as if she had memorized all the different details of the project and she was able to provide an opinion on whether the item would work or not. At the same time, Sandra was able to adjust things on the go and make new choices according to our new ideas or additional identified needs. We loved that, working with Sandra, we never felt any pressure to make a decision we were not comfortable with. The project was an incredible experience and we are not only satisfied with the results but we also learned a lot about interior design from Sandra. We want to thank Design by Kubo for their professionalism and for providing the best experience we have had decorating our home. Sandra came in, looked at our house and made a plan! Little did I realize the impact it would make. Sandra made our house look like a small palace with her creativity and her exquisite decor. She gave us advice on what to keep and what to remove - how to depersonalize our home. We went on a quick trip and came back to this fresh, beautifully furnished and neutrally decorated home. She brought in modern lamps, bedside tables, end tables, rugs and even shower curtains and bedspreads! Who wouldn’t want our beautiful home now? Of course, it sold in no time! Thank you Sandra!
