Seekircher restored 14 openable, 92-year-old casement windows in our apartment and replaced 73 panes of glass in our fixed windows. All the steel frames were stripped and sanded and repainted. The job was done meticulously and in the timeframe that Seekircher had told us. Each step of the process was explained so there were no surprises, and when work crews said they would be at our apartment, they were. We highly recommend them for steel window restoration and refurbishment.

BEST. Assessed the needs of every window. If it needed work they did it, if it didn’t they just performed maintenance and made sure it was operating perfectly. Please don’t just replace your windows. After the very affordable (by comparison) work by Seekircher ours are good for another 100 years!!!!

Seekircher Steel Window refurbished our 70 year-old steel casement windows. Windows that were once hard to open, rusty, and with worn hardware now operate smoothly and look great! The work was completed in a timely way and communication was excellent. In short, a very positive experience!

We bought a house in northern Westchester County in the spring of 2000. The house was originally built in 1925 and had some charming steel-frame windows. We wanted to change the dimensions of one of the windows and buy three additional windows of the same size for our renovation, and Todd Seekricher was amazingly helpful during that process. He could not have been more helpful, patient or responsive. The windows are gorgeous, and look spectacular now that they are installed. We also own an apartment in NYC that is in a building built in 1925. A few years ago, one of the penthouses was renovated, and the owners had all of their steel-frame windows and doors removed, refurbished and re-installed. It was a stunning transformation. In chatting with Todd about our Westchester project, I mentioned the NYC penthouse project and he told me that it was also his company that did that work. Needless to say, the refurbishment of vintage steel-frame windows is a specialty niche, and Seekircher does it exceptionally well. It is my understanding that they have the largest inventory of vintage steel-frame windows in the country (and therefore, in all likelihood, in the world). I really cannot recommend them highly enough--and this is only the second social-media review I've ever taken the time to write. Todd and his team at Seekircher deserve the kudos.

We couldn't be more pleased and impressed with Todd Seekircher and his team's phenomenal restoration of the windows in the apartment we are renovating. Seekircher Steel Window approached the restoration, in a building by one of New York City's great architects of the 1930s, with the greatest attention to detail. Combining technical expertise with historical knowledge, they returned the windows to working order enhanced by properly glazed glass, and brought out their original luster. This restoration far surpassed installing replacement windows, and introduced us to a company superlative in every way.

We had windows that hadn't been opened in over 50 years, and were scared to even try, for fear of what might happen. Seekircher showed up promplty, and talk about the right people for the job - wow! They have the knowledge, the parts needed, and I knew I was in good hands. Within a couple of hours, all the windows we wanted worked on were open and functioning perfectly. Also wore masks the whole time beacuse of COVID. Total pros and champs.

We have a 1925 Tutor revival in need of window replacement due to age cracked glass leaded glass & missing cranks and windows not locking. Todd was able to come & get all of the windows that were in question working again!! I would highly recommend Todd and his team great customer service!

I had a number of conversations with Todd about his product. I am a General Contractor, and my client ultimately decided not to buy metal windows. In spite of that, Todd was very generous with his time and resources. I would strongly recommend Seekircher to anyone looking for metal windows. The product is uniquely beautiful and the environmental benefits of using reclaimed windows is well documented.

In 2007, Seekircher Steel Window Corp, working with Patriot Restoration, completely restored our original 80+ year-old Penthouse Apartment steel casement windows and 2 French Door pairs to the terrace in our Art Deco building in the Upper West Side Historic District of Manhattan. Their meticulous work revealed gorgeous detailing, and provided full operation of hardware. As an Architect and a member of the building's Coop Board, I have recommended Seekircher to others who have also used their services. Last spring, an owner on the 3rd floor of our building had Seekircher restore their windows. The beauty of the workmanship of those windows visible from the sidewalk on the south street facing side attracted the attention of other residents who have made contact with Seekircher for proposals. Seekircher's restoration work of these elegant windows provide a stark constrast to the clunky aluminum replacment windows that other residents have had done. I will continue to highly recommend them.
