Simply Living

Simply Living provides an interior design service that was set up by its founder Brigitte Fraser, an interior designer based in Colchester. Brigitte started her business from home in 1992, at the same time taking a a 4 year degree in Interior Design and Furnishing at the London College of Furnishings. In 2002 Brigitte opened her own shop, Simply Living, in Colchester from where she continued to run her interior design business; the idea behind the shop had been to showcase furniture, lighting and accessories which are sourced as part of the interior design work. In February 2012 we relocated the Simply Living interiors part of the business to a larger showroom in Colchester, which has enabled us to expand the range of lighting and furniture on show. Our service has always been about bringing designer style and expert knowledge to every home. Simply Living’s business has grown rapidly since we first started in 1992, and our customers range from private clients (local, London, Suffolk, Austria, France, Cyprus and Mallorca) to commercial clients. In addition, Simply Living Interiors has worked exclusively for Lexden Restorations Ltd, an award-winning developer largely specialising in the restoration of listed buildings, including The Maltings in Manningtree, Sovereign Crescent on the Lexden Road in Colchester, Abbey House in St Johns as well as the Garrison in Colchester. Our interiors showroom is open Monday to Friday from 10am until 4pm, and we can be found at the Cowdray Centre in Colchester.
