LA FENCE CRAFT

I seldom provide review on the internet, but I think I have responsibility to share this poor experience with others so that people can be aware of potential issues before committing to the service. The job was to install two fences with gate on both side of my house. I chose LA Fence Craft because of their quality product. It's surprising that a company sounded so honest and sincere about selling quality product (on our first consultation), would ended up provided me the worst service that I could ever imagine. At first, the salesperson was super slow to response. On average, it took at least a few days (if not a week) to get a return phone call or email. I waited for almost a month for the quote, and another 6 weeks for the job the schedule. The installation seemed fine, although it took a lot longer than what was scheduled. However, 2 weeks after the installation, on a hot sunny day, my gate was stuck and could not open /close. Apparently, the vinyl fence has expanded by the heat (which I was told that the 'professional' fence won't have such a problem). I called LA Fence Craft to see if they will honor the warranty, and they scheduled the salesperson to come out to my house and checked (and as usual, the appointment was delayed). He examined the gate and concluded that the installation was not done properly, and would pass the case along to the repair team. A couple of days later, I got an appointment for repair, which was the worst part of the story. The two repair guy did not really know what they were doing. They tried to reinstalled the vinyl post for a total of 5 times, and every time the installation got worse, and my gate could not even be closed. Every single time they did not measure the level and kept putting the post out of alignment which caused the fence not closing. The original 1 hour repair appointment was extended to 3 hours, and the guys were not able to fix the fence. I called the company at that point, but was not given much help. In the end, the repair guys forced to install the post at an angle so that the door can close and locked. As a result, 3 weeks after I paid for a brand new gate, I ended up with a slanted wobbly old-looking gate. Hope this story is helpful to you, and please reconsider before you decided to go head with this company.

We cannot recommend MIke & his crew highly enough!! They were a pleasure to work with. We hired LA Fence Craft to replace our sad, old fence with a modern, horizontal tongue & groove with a contemporary stain color. They exceeded our expectations. Mike & his crew were prompt, professional and paid attention to every detail. They treated our project like it was for their own home!!! We would be happy to do business with LA Fence Craft again.

We wrapped up our major construction/ renovation project with redwood fencing from LA Fence Craft. Mike (owner) and his team were very professional- from estimate to final clean up. Mike is a rare breed in the construction industry (and I’ve hired many contractors in the past). He not only is passionate about his craft (making sure every little detail is done to perfection), but he’s also a great project manager (everything was done on time and on budget). Planning to hire LA Fence Craft again to build a pergola for the back yard.

Mike from LA Fence Craft constructed a replacement fence on my townhouse patio. I must say it is quite beautiful. When I enter the front door of my home, the first thing I look for is the view of the fence and the greenery across the room on the patio. I love the way it looks every time. When I first contacted LA Fence Craft, Mike called back promptly and came out to meet with me regarding what type of fence I wanted. He was courteous, helpful and was prepared with samples of wood and stain colors. His bid was priced right, he showed up for work when he said he would and completed the project on target. It was easy to make a decision to have him do the work. I was very impressed all around! He is a great person to work with and the result was just what I wanted! As I said, BEAUTIFUL!

Not only did they design and install a great fence, but all the little things were great such as: showing up on time, cleaning up, etc. These are hard to find qualities.

Excellent service and reasonable price! Mike and his crew did an excellent job. They provided valuable insights and helped guide us through various design decisions. The craftsmanship of the fence is top-notch. It was beautifully built and we couldn't ask for a better looking fence at this price. We will provide pictures of the fence after the rest of the remodeling project is done.

I was in the market to replace my old redwood fence with Vinyl and asked around. I was referred to LA Fence from a trusted friend in the construction/building business. Did the normal search on the Web and overall had three companies come out and give me an estimate. I wanted more than the normal latch locking mechanism, a regular door handle that can be rekeyed. Mike's (LA FENCE) estimate was the "Best" overall. The work Mike did was Excellent !! He even did some repairs to my block wall. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thanks Mike

This company was very attentive to listening to our specific needs and desires with replacing our old fence, in order to provide a stronger, longer lasting fence, which would look nice in along the side of most of property, and would provide us with improved privacy. They provided excellent advice, and were very prompt in not only providing us a very fair and reasonable price, but were also quick in custom-forming the vinyl fence parts, along with a quick installation that took barely a day in removal of the old fence and installation of the new. They were also very good at hauling out the old fence and cleaning up other related material. I am strongly considering hiring them again to put up a similar fence on the other side of the house.
