Tom remodeled our kitchen and powder room in San Francisco. Throughout the project, he was communicative, on time, and always did his best to accommodate our wishes even during last minute changes. The craftsmanship of the final result is nothing short of astounding. Our entire house feels new again.

Velero Construction did a wonderful job renovating our home in San Francisco. They did a major remodel of the unit after it sustained severe water damage - this included replacing all of the hardwood floors, doing a full remodel of the kitchen, and a partial remodel of the two bathrooms. They were great at explaining the whole process to us, and guiding us through all of the choices we had to make. They did what they said they were going to do and finished on time and on budget. I would recommend them highly.

Tom is a first rate professional! We talked to a number of contractors and narrowed it down to 2: Tom and one other. Ultimately, we had a very tough time choosing, but the other contractor had a few prior jobs that were so close in exact scope that we went with them, but we really felt we were in a "can't lose" situation picking between them and Tom / Velero. I am so impressed with Tom that I asked him to send me a link to write him a review. That's right - he did not ask me to write this, but rather I wanted to and asked him to send me the link to do so. You can read the other reviews from clients that talk about the quality of his work. But this is a review to highlight a few key things - how responsive Tom is (very rare for contractors to be as responsive as he is). - how transparent Tom is (he was honest and transparent from start to finish) - how helpful Tom is (he gave us great advice on our project, rather than "holding back until he got the job) Tom told us he would give us a quote at a certain time, and he delivered that. He asked me some great questions about the project that helped us think through things deeper, as if he was thinking about a project at his own home. Hopefully this gives you a sense of how good Tom and Velero are, again not just in the work itself, but the whole process, communication, honesty, transparency aspects and the thoughtful input angle. Highly highly recommend!

Velero Construction did a wonderful job renovating the windows and trim of our building. They also did some great work on the stucco and helped address the chronic leaks and water damage we have had. I would certainly hire them again and would recommend them for a variety of types of work.

Tom and his crew at Velero did a first rate job renovating our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. From the demo to the final punch list, they were professional, communicative and clearly respected the fact that they were working in our home while we were still living in it. And the end result was better than we had imagined. Tom was meticulous in minimizing dust and debris, kept us well informed, and dealt with unforeseen circumstances honestly and fairly. One aspect that sold us on Tom early on, was his straightforward "education" on how contracting projects work (and sometimes don't work). He was amazingly forthright and both a true gentleman and craftsman.

I really appreciate the close attention to detail and level of overall quality that they brought to the project. When I needed some additional advice on the remodel, Tom brought in one of his designers to give me advice that was very helpful in generating ideas. The Velero team was very professional and took great care to minimize dust and debris. We ran into a few curve balls along the way which they dealt with in a very professional way, always keeping me informed and up to date.

Velero Construction did a great job on our home remodel. The job entailed some structural work, as well as a variety of finish carpentry, tile, painting, etc. We had a couple of new doors and windows put in, re-did our kitchen, and had some other smaller projects completed. We were very impressed with their work and had a very positive experience overall.

Velero did a great job renovating our family room and kitchen. They helped us with a lot of design ideas and were very patient with us during the whole process. We were very happy with the end result and we are actually considering hiring them back for another large project.

We did a partial remodel and full "resurface" of our kitchen with Velero Construction and were extremely pleased with the results. They really guided us through the process and helped us with paint colors, tile and counter top, even going so far as to drive to marble wholesalers to take pictures of samples for us. They also made a special effort to help us visualize the best way to lower and widen our bar and the end result was great! They are also excellent painters, which is a plus; thumbs up.

Velero Construction did a wonderful job on my house and especially on my custom bathroom remodel. Among other projects, we had a heated floor put in and, although we had some challenges during the process, they really followed through and did a high quality job that I was very pleased with.
