The Minimalist Society catered to all our specific requests: we wanted glass for the kitchen and bedroom to open up the space and bring in more light, a bay window that doubled as storage, an archway between two bedrooms, a colour palette of wood tones with nude beige/pink/brown/grey and even a spot of green - they provided all of these and more. They regularly updated us with in-progress pictures and were very responsive whenever we had queries/follow-up comments. We felt completely secure leaving the entire renovation in their hands and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for IDs.

It is a mammoth task when deciding on renovating your house as there are a lot of areas to consider. However, TMS definitely made our journey a smooth one. From the get-go, Jacinda has been precise and detailed, going through with us area by area on what we want in terms of design. Subsequently, with the addition of Yi Ling and Keith, the team went through patiently with us on material and color choosing, giving us professional and practical recommendations. Communications with the team were a breeze throughout the renovation. Any questions or issues were promptly addressed and discussed, and we really appreciate the practical and candid solutions provided by the team . All these gave us confidence that our home is in good hands and the end result was exactly what we envisioned (and better!). After months of shortlisting an ID, we finally proceeded with TMS and haven’t looked back since. From consultation to completion, the process was very smooth. Yi Ling, Su Chan and Keith were professional throughout and were patient in responding to our questions. The Minimalist Society was the 3rd ID I had spoken to. The first one promised everything too fast and too easy which sounds unrealistic. The second one not paying attention to my needs. At last, when spoke to Penny in TMS, although young, she was very professional, detailed, willing to connect, able to listen to what I want and yet realistic. TMS was very detailed regarding the pricing, which means that I know exactly what I was going to pay, that's a plus point. The renovation process was effectively carried out and I feel very safe to leave my house to the team, which includes Penny, YiLing and Keith. Sometimes I didn't understand certain thing and while trying to get a clarification from them, they were very patience with me in terms of communication and explanation. Response was fast too. Good communication is definitely very important in terms of working together to create an ideal house. I am very very happy with the end product, love my new house very much, so comfortable, nice and cozy. They had delivered what I wanted, with great service. Very grateful to what TMS had given to me. Yi Ling, Su Chan and Keith are professional and understand I want for my place. Process is hassle free, simple and straight forward. They are willing to listen to my needs and always provide professional advises. they will inform early if there is any additional costs before they proceed. Pricing is very transparent. I was attracted to TMS as their portfolio and vision of a minimalist and simple home resonated with me. The team was patient and friendly from the initial meeting, to materials selection, and throughout the renovation process. Over the few months of reno, I appreciated the open channels of communication. My requests to change, include or exclude items, for various reasons, were all responded to effectively and efficiently. My expectations in terms of timelines and handover dates were managed reasonably. It was also important for me that the quotation given was transparent, and there were no last minute extravagant hidden costs. The workmanship of the carpentry did not disappoint and all the installation works were done with care and integrity. The after-reno followup was also detailed and meticulous. No regrets choosing TMS!

We were first attracted to TMS's creations on their YouTube channel. We then knew that they were the one for us and they became our first and only choice of ID. Upon initial meetup, their warmth, friendliness and work experience further cemented our belief that we can work together to achieve our dream home. TMS listened to all our requests and ideas. Then answered our queries and honestly explained the pros and cons of each idea. They provided useful suggestions and modification. Their integrity and pride in their work can be seen as they will provide a viable timeline for completion and not over promise on things that are impractical or impossible. Two months later, the renovation was completed and the end result exceeded my expectations! Even though there wasn't alot of built in carpentry done, the TMS signature minimalist touch can be glimpsed in every corner. We would like to thank Keith, Yiling and Su Chan for going through this journey with us. Because of you guys, our new house is now our beautiful HOME!

We were looking for a firm that could help us achieve our dream of creating a simple and clean home. We were taken by the TMS philosophy and loved the kinds of spaces they could create. It was a real pleasure and joy to work with Yi Ling, Penny and Keith. Our flat wasn't the easiest to work with (we had interesting discoveries every step of the way!), but they were easy to work with. They helped to clarify our requirements and incorporated our preferences into the overall design discussion. As with any other renovation, differences do occur, but we are thankful that they were always responsible and professional (and patient too!) During the construction process, they communicated clearly, and we received timely updates. We could always count on them to respond in a timely and objective way.
