After living in NYC for 25 years, we bought our first house, a 1952 ranch that was in need of a total overhaul. We knew we had to do a gut renovation but didn't know where to begin. With only 4 months to essentially create a new house, we needed someone who had a vision and the skills to not only give us a beautiful, modern home but to get the job done on time and as close to budget as possible. The Titus team did a fantastic job on an incredibly tight schedule and we're grateful! The team is skilled, creative, hardworking, and conscientious. And they're good people all around. We're so happy we hired Titus!

We had a fantastic experience with Titus Built. Jeff was incredibly responsive, communicative and dedicated from start to finish. I had some idea of what I wanted to do in renovating our family room and doing minor renovations in our kitchen. But I needed help in putting the full vision together. Jeff was able to do that and he and his design team had a great sense of what we were looking for. Everyone from Jeff to his project manager to his crew of workers were professional and they took great care and concern in their work every step of the way. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. The end result is a beautiful family room that is top quality, unique and reflects our style perfectly! Jeff was great to work for! His projects are some of my favorites - they are well done (check out his work, it’s incredible) and therefore easy to photograph. He’s prompt with communication and has reasonable expectations. Behind the scenes, I see he has some of the best client relationships I’ve seen! Jeff is just a really nice guy that does great work.

We hired Jeff and Titus built to renovate our kitchen and great room along with adding a small addition for a new upstairs laundry room, bath and bedroom. From the beginning, Jeff was communicative, responsive, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with...and this continued through to completion of project. Titus Built helped us make our dream master bathroom a reality! From the early planning days to the final touch-ups, Jeff and his team were responsive, collaborative, and creative in helping us maximize our space and achieve the desired look. The craftsmanship of the custom cabinetry is truly beautiful and the tile work is exceptional as well. We have retained Titus Built for several home projects over the years. Most recently we did a full kitchen renovation and were extremely pleased with the result. We hired Titus Built to design and build a farmhouse porch for us that would be a three season room. Jeff Titus was a pleasure to work with -- he and his team were very professional. They listened to what we wanted, gave us good advice and were flexible when we requested changes. The quality of their work was excellent and they completed the project on time and within budget. The end result was a porch with the farmhouse feel we were looking for, including custom cabinetry his team built from barnwood that is both functional and great looking. Overall, we would highly recommend Jeff and his team.

I hired Titus in 2009 to do a home remodel on a midcentury modern home circa 1946. I am sad to say it did not work out as I had hoped. Much of what they did had to be redone due to poor quality: all tile work (grout and tile cracked) due to improper subfloor installation; 2 shower stalls which needed to be rebuilt; low-quality, mismatched, improperly prepped and installed exterior wood siding, all of which needs to be replaced; improper flashing; bathroom walls that aren't aligned; non-matching baseboard molding. Further, the basement bathroom (not in scope originally) leaked during construction, the rebuild of which added another $8000 to the job. After the job was finished, it leaked again. Titus recommended an additional costly repair (around $3500) that did not resolve the problem. In the end, it turned out to be a badly installed gutter and merely a $200 repair. Recently, due to a minor mold issue in the same bathroom, I had to remove some dry wall that they had installed. The source of the mold was rotting wood that had been there pre-construction and was soaked due to an abandoned but open dry well. All this should have been taken care of when they gutted and rebuilt the bathroom the first time. At best the work on the job was sloppy at worst they cut huge corners at my expense. In the end I had to hire other contractors to repair their work. I read these reviews and it makes me sad because clearly they did not give me the same attention they have given their other clients.

TitusBuilt was hired to design and build our new state of the art dance studios located in downtown Wilton, Connecticut. The project completion was nothing short of fantastic. The efficiency of the design allows for a comfortable and beautiful space for both the dance students and the parents. We were absolutely thrilled with the entire project from design to completion. Every detail was considered and the project was amazing to watch come to fruition. The entire TitusBuilt team was fantastic to work with, professional and caring from start to finish. Thanks to TitusBuilt, I hope to have many years of enjoyment in our new state of the art facility.

Titus Built renovated a large portion of my basement. The job included blasting through a wall that gave access to my backyard, constructing a stairwell to the outside, building out a large living area of approximately 2000sf which included a tv area, a kitchen, six bunk beds and a bathroom. In another area of the basement a gym was built. The job was a huge success. It looks tremendous and my family uses it daily. The workmanship was top notch and the owner Jeff Titus was very easy to work with. Any problem was dealt with immediately and solved.
